Who do i pick into annie

I have tried alot of things and every single time i have been stomped on by an annie with basically nothing i can do against it. I am truly stumped as to what i do against this champion.

Please help!

Long range mages such as Xerath, Lux, Vel'Koz or Ziggs. Just people that can out-waveclear her and stay way out of range.

Surprised I haven't seen anyone here say Syndra . Assuming she wasn't banned, her W basically nullifies Annies ult. I remember having some very viable games when I was playing her.

Either someone with solid long range waveclear (I like ziggs here, but syndra, xerath, etc), or a battle mage that wants to rush ROA, such as Swain or Cassio (to survive the burst).

Oh, or Kassadin, who just grinds her down with favorable trades early, lives through flash tibbers, and blows her up after healing a little.

Malz is also easy, just keep your passive up, and keep her shoved in so she cant roam. (I build ROA in these matchups just to be on the safeside, it doesnt hurt Malz, as he's halfway a battlemage as is.)

Galio has a quiet entertaining farm lane vs her, with brief visits to ulti bot (her slow for a mid waveclear is welcome here).

You can try out Lissandra aka, Better Annie but with a Gap Closer, and see if she fits your style.

Morgana is good. Just make sure to stay away from her W/R range because that's instant. You can totally shield while the Q is in the air and make her waste her stun passive and it eats a lot of magic damage and you can heal up with your spellvamp passive.

Malzahar is good too with his passive. Just make sure you don't stay close while your passive shield isn't up. Annie's auto attacks are really long range and can prevent you from regaining your passive CC shield. Your passive also lingers for a brief moment after it is taken up which prevents Annie from 1 shotting you with your passive up.

Out-range her and get your damage off on her while she's held down by cc. Syndra/Lux/Vel'Koz is a good start in my opinion.

No joke, Vlad does great into her if you use flat AP quints+blues and start dark seal. Trade into her, even if she has stun, when you have empowered Q. Ranges are ~equal so your Q will still go off and chunk her harder than her Q+W will chunk you. Bonus points if you were charging E and she was stupid enough to walk into you for a stun while crimson rush was coming up. You can also dodge her ult with pool. Watch for her throwing her hands up, then mash that W. .25 second animation, so it takes a bit of experience to get down.

Don't use the protobelt build. Don't build Spirit Visage either. Its actually bad in a lot of cases, and people don't realize that. All of the Vlad mains are going full AP the majority of the time. item 1026 item 1052 is a great first buy that guarantees a 1-shot at lvl 6.
