I don't even want to play games that are something like one Diamond player and a handful of random Silver/Gold/Platinum players vs. an entire Diamond+ 5-man pre-made.
I'd honestly rather just go play another game than sit through these one-sided 15 minute stomps after a 60 second queue.

"Take a bullet for the team" - use a third-party to quickly assess if somebody on the enemy team is smurfing into the match. Fail to load in, so that your own team can re-make. This works better, of course, if you are queuing in with a friend who can explain to the team what is happenning. The few times that I have done this, my teammates at least, were all very happy that I saved them.
Maybe if everybody does this, then Riot will finally fix the matchmaking.
hhaavviikk5 votesthere is nothing to e ''fixed'' normal rank and ranked rank is separate, you can be diamond in ranked and be silver in normals because you almost never play it so in normal it matches silver with silver because in normal they are silver, there is nothing to fix if it's working as intended
Soul Dealer4 votesRiot doesn’t want to fix matchmaking that’s the thing. If we keep trying to rank up and we fail because of trolls or uneven matchmaking that just makes us play more because we want to keep trying to get to the next level. Riot purposley screws us over to keep us playing.****

And I completely agree with him. Playing as a bunch of silvers and maybe 1-2 Gold against 2 Diamonds and 3 Plat Players is maybe fun for the diamonds/plats that get an easy 15min stomp but not for the ones having to play against players vastly better than themselves and wasting 20+ minutes of time when all they wanted was a good, fair match.

Normals will never be “fixed” because such a thing is impossible when no cares when they play normal games. Just go play another game mode.

in ranked, you can only queue with at most one other person, unless its flex, which no one really cares about unless they are trying to 5 man
Also, when you queue with another player, they have to be near your skill level; aka gold can queue with plat/silver, but not diamond/bronze
In norms, you can queue with anyone. So a team can have 2 2 mans that are 1 plat, one silver and 2 bronze buddies. You yourself are gold.
You get matched against 4 diamond players that almost never play normal games, and as such have low normal mmr
So norms will always have a far wider array of possibilities when it comes to matchmaking, as it doesnt have the stricter requirements that ranked does

There are virtually never enough high MMR players to make a full normal game and the system quickly/aggressively increases the acceptable range, so it eventually just throws together the first people it can find.
i.e. there's a 5-man Diamond premade in queue, and only one other high MMR player in queue. It starts a team team with the other high MMR, then after 3 minutes of not finding anyone else, it says 'fuck it' and throws whatever other four players it can find into it, regardless of their MMR.
I encounter this in most games. I have almost 60% win rate in normals, even trying to make the implication that I have 'low normal MMR and everything is working just fine' is absurd.

absurd. there is no way Normal and Ranked Matchmaking works the same way... when u typically spend less time queueing in Normals.

Would be nice to have a game mode for practicing things or just playing without the stress of it being for things. But i can vouch ive legit had games with silv/unranked to challenger in the same game and that should never be possible. Thats an extreme example but theres plenty of games ive done with masters in them with new players.
Anchobi2 votesLast time I have played with gold team vs plats+diamionds we won that game so yeah, ranked division is no always equal current skill level of the player and a lot of people are high/drunk/dont care about the result of normal game, you can win or at least have fun in those games.

Nevrankroaton2 votesI never had an issue with the MMR of my draft. Sometime you get diamond/high diamond, sometime a rare challenger/grandmaster appear, sometime lower. Whatever. It is draft. I don't see your point.
Souji2 votesYesterday it seemed pretty bad. Had a game that was a stomp where the enemy team had 2 diamond players and a plat player vs a team with only 1 plat player maybe 2 golds and 2 silvers. We just got stomped. To say the least, it wasn't a fun game for us.
