Riot's stuck between not giving up on bad ideas, and giving up too fast on good ideas.
It seems the Riot lately has been ready to just throw the towel in instead of actively trying to fix problems. They broke Banner? IT GONE. Introduced a new weapon that completely destroyed Armor Pen and made it too good? IT. GONE. Kog'Maw needed a lot more tweaks to ever be fair? I. T. G. O. N. E. Twisted Treeline has never gotten actual developer acknowledgement and love therefore it's not played? Well, you already know.
And on the other hand they'll refuse to backdown on ideas that are bad. Thing's like giving RNG spells to Zoe, giving Sylus an ultimate that will never allow him to be viably balanced in any conceivable way, Pyke is an extremely unbalanced champion by design that will always be good and always be problematic, and pushing out constant low-quality chromas at the price of $100.
I wish they'd actually fully think problems through instead of jumping the gun. I also wish money wasn't so much of a design driver now, like hell say what you will but TT is just getting removed since TFT is a cash cow because people are sinking ridiculous amounts of money into a unpolished, buggy, RNG-filled shitstorm of a gamemode. (at this rate I just want them to release a League of Legends classic, hell I'll pay monthly for it. I just want to have fun again)
