Idea for new runes - odyssey augments

I just can’t stop thinking about the odyssey augment system for yasuo sona jinx ziggs and malphite, It’s just perfect if you ask me and wouldn’t it be nice if like every champion in League had that? Let’s say you make them runes, make 3 keystones for every champion and we can choose 1. That was let’s say if something like conquer was on some bruiser, champs like Yi and Yasuo can’t abuse it, however I don’t think these keystones should be like odyssey so malphite R can hit you in wall, I mean regular keystones, We have what 15 keystones now? why not take a time to make 400+ keystones and make them rune system. It’s a lot of work but i genuinely think it can work.

I want an Augment that lets me shoot 9 Ultimates with one Volley as Ashe

I strongly agree with you. I feel like it's a wasted opportunity if they don't pick this up. The amount of diversity it would bring to champions and customisation it would give the player....it'd also potentially mean that champs won't be locked to a set roll. Every game would be unpredictable, fresh and exciting.

I'd love to play a** lot** of the champs I find aesthetically appealing in my main roll, support. A lot of the champs I like the look of just don't work in the roll I'd like to play however. E.g: Jinx, Kai'Sa, Kayn, Evelynn, Akali - the list goes on. Augments/skill trees would open up a whole new realm of possibilities for that. I imagine the balancing and the time that it'd take to put into the ideas, spell effects and coding would make it very time consuming though. Also it might throw things into chaos for a time, so perhaps they could make another summoners rift drafting the idea, just in case it didn't work out and they needed to scrap it.

But I'd be more than happy to wait for this to come!

While it would be fun, the sheer amount of problems that can erupt and the utter chaos it would throw the game into is just too much, and that's on top of the colossal amount of testing they'd have to do for literally every champion in the game. It would take too much time, too much effort, and put a helluva lot more strain on an already taxed balance team to be feasible.

i've been saying this since augments came out. of course they need to vastly reduce each augment's power compared to onslaught but giving players options like this is so much better than trying to balance just a few runes for every champion
