lucian w nerfs? the recent jax nerfs, ofc -5 ms irelia, -3 ad graves that lowered his wr for like 3 days, but god forbid a champion to pop up in the meta that they dont like because they will be quick to nerf that champion RIGHT away with big nerfs not meme nerfs, the bias is showing and trust me people are noticing

if your gonna nerf champions stop tip toeing around actually issues on the champions and just hit them where they need to be hit, stop nerfing champs in shitt ineffective ways just so you can say "hey look, we nerfed them now" when we all know well the balance team isnt stupid and they understand the game there has to be some actual reason they refuse to nerf certain champions but are quick to gut a champion like galio

Lucian W getting nerfed because it's actually a good poke spell with low mana cost in the early laning and people do put points in it first, also other ADC'd are getting buffed
No one is playing Graves after the nerfs
Galio was fucking broken and deserves it, there's no bias because Riot is biased towards a specific class when it fits the narrative

Lucian W nerfs come along with huge buffs to crit adcs, dont ignore that.

And he even with Mana Band goes out of mana easily, W costing 20 more isn't a joke for his laning fase if you have actually played against Lucian or played Lucian.

Funny how your post gets uprovted but back when I made the exactly same statement how Riot is going with these pacebo nerfs on popular champions and playing favourites basically it didn't get enough attention. In any case, Riot's just a trash company that only cares about what's popular and refuses to do ACTUAL nerfs on cancer champs Irelia Aatrox Camille

We know why they nerf Galio. We do not know why they keep power in kits where they are and try to trim everything BUT the problem, even when the niche is being problematic for game health. There are various ways to address these issues, and they most likely attempt as much as possible to keep niches intact unless they are terrorizing the pro scene. This is thematically sound, however the game is saturated with CC, damage, and champions -- effectively rendering it far too facsimiled if they began to nerf niches and level the ground between the champions.

That being said, there are clear outliers and some niches being too powerful can warrant nerfs just the same. Taking Irelia into account, her rework gave her every tool in the book, and even a new one, to break her obscenely and make her skill ceiling monumentally effective. They are finally getting around to cutting power away, it takes them a long time because they really don't want to take unique power away in kits unless it's finally absolutely necessary.

An easier example is Azir, who was allowed to terrorize pro play and high elo for quite awhile before they began slowly trimming power away. That's how you deal with a champion, and while they take an excessively long time to do it, they do somewhat understand how. They just do not want to.
