It's pretty much called for in this Ace at 20 min and win meta, whereas if you are a support who has survived a bad team fight, you can't do anything about your impending doom (unless you are Janna)
Why can't Ohm be used defensively and be a way better support and tank item, rather then a pointless ball of wasted gold and a item slot

was a pretty intressting semi defensive item for AP based champions. The concept of having the option to build it into a scaling or and easy was just perfect. The best example for this was 
that extreemly liked this combination. However this somewhat got lost with the rework that compleetly shifted the functionality of it. Than the concept of got lost since the gap between the offensive and defensive build option just didn't came suitable anymore for the same champion. For that reason a lot of the build options are in danger right now since they compleetly lost their identity.
