Evelynn/Jungler mains, please help! How do you build Evelynn?

I will confess, I am not an player (outside of URF). If anything, as a support main, she is the BANE of my existence (I have to peel her off my carries AND warding against her is a pain).

However, my best/favorite junglers, and , who I liked both before cinderhulk btw, are always picked/banned, and seems to be quite strong atm, and she is fun to play.

The only problem is that I have NO idea how to build this champion. She is not played often, and I swear, every time I see her, I see a different build. Some games I see her build full AP. Sometimes I see her get some AP and some AD (like get and then ). Sometimes I see her build AD then full tank or AP then full tank. And then sometimes I see her build straight-up full tank.

Are some of these builds more viable than others? Are all of them viable? Some not viable at all? Does it depend on the situation? I would love some input, especially from any or jungler mains out there.

I'm not by any means an Evelynn main and I'm certainly not a jungler in any way shape or form, but I can share some Evelynn builds that might be of some use to you. A popular AP build for Evelynn would be: item 3020 ( with the option of: item 3259 ) item 3089 item 3135 item 3157 item 3116 item 3151

If you are looking for a good hybrid build for Evelynn for any reason, I would recommend: item 3708 item 3117 (or item 3274 ) item 3078 item 3151 item 3146 item 3143

I personally have never tried playing Evelynn as a tank, but I hear that it's something a lot of people have been recommending. A good middle-of-the-road hybrid/tank build would be: item 3153 item 3117 (probably with item 3270 or if you're looking to watch the world burn: item 3272 ) item 3156 item 3143 item 3102 item 3065

With the constant innovation from the majority of League of Legends players, I wouldn't dare to say any one build is more viable than another, simply because every game is going to be different. I personally prefer the first build that I recommended as it's a good choice no matter what type of game you're having. My advice for you if you're going to be playing Evelynn is to make sure you don't fall behind, and remember that while she's built for high mobility and chasing down champions to get the kill, do not trap yourself, and watch your positioning at all times.

Game dependent. She is flexible. Tune your build for how you plan to play her in each game. But you do need at least one item to make you something of a damage threat so you cannot be ignored.

Mixing AD and AP is not a problem if you do not have multiplier items like item 3089 and item 3031 .

I highly recommend avoiding item 3117 unless you really need the gank pressure though. That upgrade gives no combat stats.

Honestly, Evelynn has a lot of different possible builds. You can use every smite upgrade, purple / red / blue are viable. For boots : item 3158 item 3047 item 3111 Either you go item 3724 info full AP (I think you need some experience with Evelynn before) Or you grab item 3725 or item 3723 or then 1 - 3 damage items into tank items. item 3078 item 3146 item 3155 are the best damage items (unless you go full ap).

I currently use item 3725 item 3078 into full tank but I think I will change because cinderhulk is now active all the time, making it impossible to sneak into a lane (fuck you scuttler crab T_T)

Some people also like item 3117 item 3020 item 3153 item 3726 but not me, it's up to you to test those :)
