Control wards don't work on Invisibility

That's kind of bullshit then what's the counterplay to them, they come out kill their adc, disappear, wtf riot so let's make invisibile assassins practically invisible that not even control wards work anymore.....

Oracle alteration works.

Not really, you can see where they are, but you still can't target them.

You can with aoe abilities.

That's not what we call "targeting" in this game. Which is kind of ironic coming from someone nicknamed Dysnomia.

And plenty of hard CC are not AoE abilities, and ADC basic attacks are not AoE abilities. So no, Oracle alteration isn't really a counter to Invisibility. It helps a bit, but not much, and the true counter is really to track their movement from afar and not be isolated.

Anyone mentioned "basic attacks" in the first place?

OP mentioned "countering invisibility", and one of the effects of invisibility that needs to be countered is being immune to basic attacks and to targeted spells. It's not just about not being visible, it also modifies how you can interact with the invisible enemies, even if you know where they are.

So, I repeat, no Oracle alteration doesn't really counter invisibility.

Oh right 4got about that

  1. You're almost 2 years late.
  2. Not a single of the invisible assassin is currently OP, even despite their invisibility.

Invisibility is now exclusively short term effects and Teemo's passive. The counter-play is to keep track of enemy movements and predict a reasonable path for them to take.

It doesn't always work(bloody clowns), but it's generally not that difficult.

Hmm how about not overextending? That's the counter for nearly everything. It's not like you're watching the minimap anyway.

Op or not is not the point any champion that gets fed is going to a bitch to deal with right? That increases when you are dealing with assassins like Akali that can pop invisible within her shroud in team fights she almost always gets away because I'm targeting her first as an adc, you always want to focus the assassin once they get near you because you want them dead, because 5 % health is still going to kill me if I'm an immobile adc like Ashe, but when they can just disappear kind of feels unfair to say the least and when my team presses I can't because I know that akali is just waiting for my team to advance and then pop out on me right off the back and not much I can do about it. Her shroud stops me which is good but their needs to be some type of counterplay to this.....and right now I'm not seeing any.....
