How "bad" would League really be without unit-collision, Riot?

Season 6 was supposed to fix minion-block, but I've been tripping over shit constantly in every single game, noticeably, sometimes completely fucking me over. I was lucky to only be in a bot game one time, where my own minion-wave stacked up and completely blocked me from leaving the top-side enemy tower.

Instead of removing ignore-unit-collision, how about we TURN OFF unit collision on minions (at least allied minions) and see what happens? Before pre-season ends, and the one chance in the whole year to make drastic changes is gone.

Just what is the reason that we're forced to treat our own minions as obstacles rather than a resource, or a tool, or... minions? And what went so completely wrong, that it's even worse now than it was before Riot tried to fix it?

If Allied Minion block was removed, then you could just stand on your creeps to prevent the enemy team from last hitting. That is not a mechanic Riot wants in the game, and honestly, it sounds like a pretty f-ing annoying one.

I personally still feel allied minions should block, however the degree they do this season is utterly ridiculous imo. I only really do poorly against Illaoi when my minions block me when it looks like I should be able to pass by them. Otherwise I either ho even or out trade her.

Which makes me think that this is the biggest reason people scream Illaoi OP.. they just do not realize how bad minions are clumping up.

I found that intentionally delaying your minions a bit then rushing ahead to aggro the three enemy melee minions and spreading them out while yours determine aggro tends to alleviate alot of the problem in the first few waves. (As a temporary solution until RIOT hopefully fixes the ossue)
