It's the exact opposite of the black cleaver, as in it shreds mr with every auto. It gives Magic damagr on hit. Because resist shred per hit is an aa thing. No one likes a smartass

This is close, but it's flat.

Which is important because item 3071 by itself enables teamcomps of 4 AD + support, as long as enemies don't have Malphie and/or Rammy.

Meanwhile lack of "Magic Cleaver" means that 3 magic damage dealers in team often is already far too much.

pure AP comp would never work anyways because they do not generally do enough damage to towers, so they can't push as hard. Could only see very specific comps as being possible.

Not exactly true. Anything with Lichbane can take towers pretty fast, anything with Nashor is not too bad too.

The problem is Aegis versus lack of AP Cleaver.

item 3001 item 3020 item 3135 item 3151 Gives some crazy penetration, along with a decent chunk of ap. Adding item 3116 and another ap item makes me a crazy mage, with some decent tank. Ive seen some spells do upwards of 1000 damage, since no one in bronze knows to build mr against mages.

Its not required. Void Staff is already leagues better than Last Whisper since it effects base MR as well as Bonus MR. They also have Abyssal Scepter which provides a wide AoE decrease in Magic Resist to benefit your whole team.

I main AP and I'll be the first one to say we don't need a black cleaver equivalent for magic damage. Black Cleaver is meant to be a way to soften up tanks primarily used by fighters (and abused by ADCs) the vast majority of magic damage champions are meant to be used as either burst damage dealers or zone control providers. Most of them should not be able to kill tanks that defeats the whole purpose.

For those that are specifically meant to deal continuous damage like Cassi and Swain (that's the only two that come to mind) the combination of Linadri's and DFT is by far more than enough.

I have a 59% win rate in Plat 2 so I'm doing something right. But riot classified Diana as a diver and not am assasin/burst mage/ or a mage at all. She is an ap fighter, the only one in the game. There is no items for ap bruisers.

And yet you've got Nashor's which synergies well with her if you do want to play bruiser; plenty of items that give both ap and health including the GLP item on her which can actually work really well. Not to mention now building those items also gives her CDR allowing her to reach the cap rather quickly.

Yes but magic pen is the problem. If the enemy builds Mr Diana has no core item.

I find that the combination of sorc boots and abyssal usually works quite well on her. Can't say any of the diana's I've seen that were competent had trouble dealing damage.

This would literally make Cassiopeia and Swain unstoppable, and especially because he can throw his E in a minion wave and get an almost permaghost and his E/ulti would delete ANYONE (and this is coming from a malzahar main)
