There should be more mini versions with effect of the completed item for AP-items

An adc can just pick up to get grivious wounds, tanks can buy , but the mage has to fully complete to get the grivious wounds, similarily the adc can buy for a mini version of the amor-pen but mages have to fully complete . Adcs have for the full item effect, while stopwatch is a onetime use, and mages have to spend 2900 gold to have stasis available all the time.

If you for example play against a mundo as mage, you need both, grivious wounds and %-magic pen, but 5650 gold to get both auxilarry effects is a very long way to go. This make ap-itemization towards the later stages of the game kind of clunky.

In my opinion there should be more part-items that can be upgraded to zhonyas, void staff, and morellos, that give a miniature version of the final effect. For example a stopwatch upgrade, that costs 1900 ( 1300 if you already have stopwatch) that gives some ap and has stasis effect with 4 min cd or something, A mini void staff that give 15% magic-pen or something, and grivious wound on some extra thing for 800 gold (don't add it to oblivion orb)

The other way around, GW needs more work to be acquired. Ridiculous for 800 golds to completely nullify Fiora Soraka Vladimir in lane

item 3165 doesn't need an 800g GW component. item 3033 item 3075 need to be changed to match , so that you can't just invalidate heal-reliant champions with a minimal gold investment.

item 3140 gets to be multi-use because its price is on par with a BF sword, but it gives shit stats for its price and the role that uses it. item 2420 is only 600g (or potentially FREE) building into an item that only costs 2900 total anyway. You can easily just finish Zhonyas after you've popped your Stopwatch.

item 3135 doesn't need an 800 gold mPen component, and item 3036 item 3033 shouldn't have it either.

If there’s a mini void staff, it should have only 10%. That’s how much the updated last whisper gets. Void Staff is total pen, just like LW is going to be.

Also, having a mini Zhonya’s would make assassins basically worthless.

(And as a small aside, you as the mage shouldn’t be building to counter the Mundo. That’s the ADC’s job)

Honestly, the Zhonyas part could be fixed with Stopwatch being in the buildpath for Seekers imo. maybe longer cd, and/or shorter stasis time to offset being usable multiple times. Id also love an AP QSS, banshees doesnt feel as useful as it.

here is the thing: 1 item 3123 / item 3076 are already kidna overtuned, especialy bramble. THey are also for top and bot as there are many sustain users. Keystones like grasp and fleet footwork, summoner 7 , supports healing, item 1054 , item 2033 , item 1083 item 1055 and every item 1053 item. Not saying this jsutifys cheap gw but it justifys it a bit mroe as on midlane.

On midlane you have most of this not. Sustain is heavily limited to item 3146 users and few champions like Ahri Akali Vladimir Swain Ekko . Giving a cheap gw item aps would totaly destroy these champions laning phase, item 3165 is already a hard lategame counter and item 3916 with its pen is already good enough as it leads to basicly true dmg.

2 item 3033 also has disadvantages. Sure, it has the cheap item 3035 to build out of it. But as for 8.11 Mortal will give 25% total armorpen and item 3036 35%. But they don't stack, so you either have to give up 10% armorpen or gw. In ecchange item 3165 and item 3135 do stack. And item 3916 is the better early item as plus has more users. item 3134 pen is already weaker (lethalaty scales with lv) but it is also just an assassinitem and not an item for adcs or bruisers mostly.

3 item 2419 builds into 3 items and 2 of them have a more or less diffrent active. Its quite fair it has an only one time use. After all zhonyas is already a good defensive item, as item 3191 also gives defensive stats for a good Efficiency. item 3140 has the high cost and no rune to give. It also gives mr yes. But it also can be build by everyone. Ses only adcs can make good sue of the finished item but currently it gets build by everyone if the enemy has champs who can use supressions. If this item would only be one time usalbe and than broken, it would far more hurt tanks and mages as adcs regardless jsut finish the item.

4 I mean, we can go the complete lsit threw on half items: neutral: item 3070 item 3057 item 3101 item 2419 mage/support&mana: item 3010 item 3145 item 3802 item 3028 item 3108 item 3191 item 1082 item 3916 item 3136 adc/assassin/bruiser: item 3086 item 3144 item 1043 item 2015 item 3133 item 3052 item 3155 item 3134 item 3035 item 3044 item 3123 item 3077 .

yes on first look ad has 2 more items but there are 3 classes that share them and not every item is on every class. Like crit and as mostly just for adc, but no lethalaty, jaruims or tiamat items mostly. On ap side you have maybe the chalice gated to supports and thats it. For exampel standard adc and mage items equal number.
