The new player experience gets worse every season.

Let's see here: Longer death timers More complex champions More complicated game mechanics like rift herald The game is more snowbally Flash not available until level 8, and is now 100% mandatory

When I started in late season 3, it was tough but manageable. Now, it is almost impossible to have fun as a new player.

I've been playing for a good 2 months now - level 17. The death timers suck, but I can deal with it Champions need to be complex otherwise their existence is merely for style points and nothing actually useful Don't quite get if you're referencing "rift herald" like the baron nasher or something else Snowballing I've seen and I think it's inevitable, but I don't play ranked, so, I don't see the trends yet For the longest time, I ran teleport/exhaust due to being mostly tanks, and being close to enemies allows me to use it, but I definitely see the need for flash

I still have plenty of fun, although I really don't think the matchmaking works well in this game if I'm getting matched with level 30's soloq'ing as a 17 NA. I get wrecked for days by really good Jhin Renekton MasterYi Lucian Jinx and others.

If you are getting paired with those people, either those people were bad enough to go on your level or you are good enough to rise to their level.

Also, the Rift Herald is the thing that spawns in the baron pit before Baron Nashor does.

I figured you were talking about that. Yeah I saw that thing and thought "uh, nope.jpg"

If you're doing draft pick then you are more than likely toget paired with 30s

I dunno, what you call complex is what I call fun. All these new styles of champions coming out, I really like it. New players could find a style and easily pick up on it.

Furthermore, more people playing on their third, fourth, fifth+ account.

New players' use of flash, generally, doesn't make it worth - usually other summoner spells like heal are more practical. If they're using flash to get across terrain or avoid malphite R, then these self-claimed "new" players are indeed questionable.

If anything, it's smite @ lvl 10 that's a concern, since it getting 5th member to duo top takes away their experience to play alone and familiarity with jungle role. Plus, ya know, new players - being new - don't know how to cs and might need to pick up smite to do so. Then again, I guess denying them that option forces them to practice cs'ing instead of relying on it.

It took me a while to realize terrain isn't always solid. IE, skill shooting someone through a rock formation. I tried to flash through terrain, but can't quite do it yet, but I've learned to dodge AOE's like the R, although, sometimes I can't because bad timing or improper distance.

I don't mind complex champions as long as the simpler ones exist. IP grinding for more champs is still a nightmare. Rune pages.

I could go on.
