Is it safe to assume that Riven will see nothing but nerfs until she's reworked?

I feel that a champ that gets nerfed this many times in a row can't be getting it because of their numbers.

Or am I just delusional?

Thoughts, Summoners?

Riven has a lot of safety built into her damage-saturated kit. Never a good combination until they remove the damage saturation altogether - either making her into a flatout bruiser or forcing her off the map entirely.

If they rework her, they're going to have to do 2 things:

  1. Remove animation-canceling. Like every skill-indexed mechanic, a high skill requirement is not an excuse for the mechanic to be potentially OP with little to no drawbacks elsewhere.
  2. No more "feed or famine". When Riven gets ahead, she snowballs out of control and stomps the lane. When she gets behind, she's can't deal enough damage and has next to no meaningful team benefits. No one really has fun dealing with that type of pattern.

If they buff Riven they'll have a "Riot" on their hands. HAHAHAHA...um, oh...I'm sorry.
