I don't understand why Riot doesn't just add in a game mode that's longer

Like you don't have to remove other other game modes or maps. You could just add in another game for SR that is designed to take 40+ minutes and have a longer laning phase and mid game, all without removing SR...

or you could just give players more customization in custom games to make that happen themselves, but I digress.

Can anyone translate as to what he is asking about? I can't determine if he's suggesting regular SR is meant for fast games, implying there's a plague for long games, or mocking those who wants ridiculously short games...
