Major Flaw in Remake - And How to Fix It

A day or two ago I was in a match were our Thresh loaded in, but was either afk or had computer issues. However he was INGAME. He didn't take a single step all game, was afk in the fountain. Eventually he disconnected but it was obviously impossible to remake since he was actually in game.

We actually played extremely well, but lost under the weight of 4v5. However this could be avoided. In addition to remake if a player never made it in, remake should be offered if a player NEVER LEFT THE FOUNTIAN before the remake was ready to be made. This would prevent this kind of ingame afk issue from bothering players ever again.

If you sit at fountain, you can trigger remake, you just have to actually type it. It doesn't just "pop up" someone has to actively type /remake, I've done his before when I wasn't paying attention to the time and wouldn't be able to stay, informed my team, sat at fountain, and typed /remake, I've also done it before when a team was toxic in champ select, and I didn't want to burn a dodge, and two team mates died, and it still let me remake so.

I was alt tabbed once and forgot I was loading into a game. I remember and tab back on, buy my items, andddd, REMAKE happens. I wasn't dc, i was there, just afk, but my team still managed to remake.
