Daily reminder that Lux's gameplay isn't healthy and that she should be nerfed.

Lane? E+AA (thunderlords) boom half health at level 1.

Post lane? Spam Q, lands? ER dead.

Teamfight? All AOE, shield your team, nuke enemy team.

Dragon? R outdamage smite lol

Lux is a mage and we are not allowed to criticize the kit of any mage. Cease your heresy at once. As penance, you must create 3 Zed QQ threads. Do this, or face the consequences.

I'd like to see her E changed. Things I find wrong with the E:

  1. Too far
  2. Can detonate too fast
  3. Slows too much

If just ONE of those things was changed, I think Lux would be in a good spot.

I'll see your Lux hyperbole and raise you some Zed!

"melee" range oh wait I leveled Q first, time to cs forever while somehow just as safe and effective as Lux.

Oh hey I hit level 6, time to delete my lane opponent every 120 seconds until they "rush" a 3500 gold item and ruin their early game builds.

Shit I completely messed up that play, now I have to decide if I want to use my W or my R to escape without any consequences, oh the decisions!

If you count a possible CS every 6 or 7 seconds, assuming no lane harass and always getting the cs, sure.

If you get deleted at level 6+ every time he has ult you should work on not getting poked down.

His consequence is that his main way of killing someone failed and now you have free reign in lane for about a minute and a half and can practically sit on his minions without fear, provided properly ward.

No quarrels with you friend, but I find the hyperbole back and forth fun sometimes :)

That's probably about what Lux would manage if she stood under her tower and spammed E like everyone seems to think she does.

I could say the exact same thing about Lux.

Kinda like how if Lux misses her Q, her whole "QERE freelo combo" goes out the window. Even more so since you can now go in on her much more freely for the next 10-15 seconds and get yourself some nice trades or summoners.

Zed on the other hand can keep going like nothing happened and if something bad does happen press W a couple times, whew that was close!

Well Lux's combo comes up much more often than Zed's. Cooldowns in exchange for mobility. I'm not going against Lux, just defending Zed since the hyperbole is so often used as fact in the boards, so it's hard to distinguish who stands for what.

Also Zed basically requires his ult to kill someone. If you die to Zed without his ult, I'm not quite sure what to say besides you don't know how to play vs a Zed. Lux does not quite require her ult.

I disagree. the cast time of her E is much slower compared to other spells. Lux is a monster when fed (but who isn't?). Don't her cheese you early game and you'll be okay. Her R does NOT out-damage smite. Maybe at low levels but then you have the same thing with Draven, Jinx, Ezreal..... And there are plenty of other AoE champs who also have peel. Gallio, Naut, Viktor, Ryze... list goes on. Lux is strong. OP? nawww

Lux's range >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Galio/Naut/Viktor/Ryze

And she nuke way harder than them (except maybe viktor).

Lux is also a monster when behind. She has two snares, an AoE slow, and two shields for her entire team. The most annoying part about Lux is that even when she feeds all game she's still so much more useful than most carries and her ult regardless of how far behind she is still can easily nuke you due to it's really high damage/the passive thing combined.

Basically Lux has a really strong early game that's almost impossible to win against, because even when you do kill her and zone her off fom CS (good luck doing that), she still has a ton of utility that never makes her not a "monster".

Lux is 100% skillshots. Dodge them or die(exclamation point)

you can dodge E?

I have to do it all the time, and I am immobile.
