Kindred's ultimate. What's the counterplay to it?
Its an AOE Tryn ultimate for all units in the marked zone around the target, including the target itself.
"The counterplay is that it affects the enemy units it!"
On paper that sounds like it would be counterplayer. But if you really think about it, when is this ult going to be used? When your team's DPS is at risk of dying. That means if you're winning, this ult does not need to be used. If you're losing, then the ultimate can be used and it forces the enemy team to run away or be beat to death by your team's DPS. The end result? Both teams are now at death door and now people die left and right after the duration.
What champion could break this ultimate? Karthus
Think about it. If the situation where both teams are being kept alive by Kindred's ultimate, who is going to benefit the most from every champion being next to no health? Karthus. Karthus can hold his ult until he actually dies. Then just use it should he die after Kindred's ultimate wears off and picks off the rest of the remaining team since you know, it literally targets every champion that is alive.
So basically if Kindred's team is composed of hyper carries and Karthus, what's the counter play to Kindred's team fighting? Split pushing and hope not to be caught when doing so?
Would Janna, Zyra, Nami, Anivia, and other forms of disengage be the answer?
