A easy way to drastically reduce queue time

make or give players the option to pick 3 roles instead of two.

I am very sure most veterans who played the game in previous seasons should be able to play more than two roles at a competetive level.

Agreed. I fail to see why Riot did not implement this in the first place. Doesn't take a genius to figure out that having a "fill" option as secondary isn't really an option. First off, it forces people who play 3 or 4 roles to also be queued for the roles they don't play and secondly, it overrides the primary role since the player will get the role that nobody else wants (aka support).

Riot needs to hire some smarter employees.

Id rather not que up for 3 roles. It would make me focus on my main role less and do worse in my main roles (support) for pure lack of playing it.

If I que up for Support, Jungle, Top, I would get support about 60% of the time as compared to the current que of Support, Top where I get support 99% of the time. Simply forcing more picks would prevent players from playing their main role well as well as force you to play even more roles in your ranked games (premades included).

Considering that there are a lot of people asking to get their primary much more than their secondary (80/20) rather than the current (60/40) ratio that seems to be going on rn. If this continues, youd have (40/30/30) kind of ratios here where people would be less likely to get their role (not counting support for obvious reasons).

um trust me even if you queue as fill primary you still get support 99% of the time, so 3 role won't affect too much.

You wouldn't have to queue for 3 roles. If riot knew how to develop its dynamic queue properly, players would be able to queue for just 1 role or 4 roles, if they so chose. Just like this. Players who don't want to, don't have to queue up for more.

autofill is only for diamond+, queue time in silver gold is around 10 minute and plat is about 15 minute, add in all the dodging and champ select stuff it is still a problem in lower elos.

They mean people were on Reddit complaining about Autofill in Gold and Plat. Riot even said it is enabled in all tiers.

The thing about queue time is not just 3 roles picking or two .. its the fact that a lot of players can play together and that makes disparity in ranks .. the game would take a longer time to get a team that is equivalent to your team ..thats whats taking long in real life

I agree dynamic queue is utterly garbage, but the champ select isn't too bad and we can still fix it. Hopefully rito will realize how badly they fucked up and bring back solo queue next season.

There is literally no reason to not allow any selection of 2+ roles. A little more flexibility opted in by some players should only make it faster. I'm astounded they still don't do this.

I could honestly play any role at my level. But I won't choose fill and get pushed into support everygame. So I only get to choose 2.

I guess it's because ultimately all games are gated by needing the least popular role.... So maybe it wouldn't really help...

Honestly... I would just make it so all players have to play support for one game like once every 15 or even 20 games or so... Everyone chips in. That's a lot of play between each support game. Has to still be better than old draft mode hmm? Queue times would improve very much.

forcing someone into support will never end well. The role system is already kinda fucked right no, many prople only queue as support to have short queue time and play shit like full ad zed bot, they aren't real supports.
