I don't get why everyone's bitching about it. It was a balanced and fun item and added strategic diversity to the game. Can we just ban people who abuse the bug instead so we can get it back? I don't find the game nearly as fun to play since its removal.

Well, considering there's quite an expensive item you have to sell in order to activate the bug, it wouldn't be too hard to flag anyone who goes through the process for further inspection.

How does it not add strategic diversity? You can choose to invest in early game with Warrior, or opt for a higher risk/reward strategy with Devourer, an item which actually adjusts your playstyle.
