Who Is the Tankiest Tank?

with running ult.
otherwise i question if anyone is really tanky right now.
This. An ulted Alistar is almost literally unkillable, especially if he is top and has gold.
Otherwise, given the fact that you have to split your resists between armor and MR because both ADCs and the reworked AP mages can shred tanks, not to mention that the ADC meta is armor penetration items, no one is really tanky right now.
Between
and
it's not really possible to survive more than 3 seconds in a fight unless you're a fed Volibear.
has infinite health stacking.
In a realistic game, most likely
because of his ult or
because he can keep healing forever =P
Sion can have 10k health if he farms enough
&
would like to have a word with you
with full build is probably as good or better than anyone.
{{Champion:44}} because he has the biggest gems.
Volibear?
It depends.... The tankiest tank in specific scenario (ult is up) probably is
however it has somewhat long CD
In normal circumstances woudl be
since his steroids come from a basic ability he only has 9 sec windows, and with full cdr (
) is actually close to 2 sec
Mundo and Shen will go next, mundo is without grievous wounds and shen thanks to his shield and dodge aura can resist a lot of damage
while ulting.
If ults don't count, then
.
It depends on your paramenters for what makes tank-tanka-tank. Sion has infinitely stacking health, but generally melts alot faster than other tanks regardless, he also pays for his infinitely stacking health by having scaling health subpar to that of your standard adc, same goes for Shen who has low scaling/base health but has a powerful aoe jax dodge to make up for it.
imo some of the top tank contenders for different reasons may be these, among others.
Massive health shield that is semi spammable makes for alot of tank in extended fights. But as fights are getting harder to extend because of massive damage creep we don't see him that much since his nerfs.
- Ult.
- Damage reduction passive, permanent mini-ghost and mobility to weave in out of combat makes for more effective use of tankyness than typical tanks that generally lack the tools to get out of harms way when they are getting focused down.
Not to mention the obvious difference in damage pontential when compared to standard tanks, assassin tanks tend to pay for their high mobility/durability/damage by having less utility, but one can quesiton if that is enough...
- About the same as above, while having more utility and even more mobility but somewhat less direct burst.
- Some of the strongest defensive steroids in the game, a free win vs full AD team given your team doesn't feed them to hell, which somehow always happens when someone on your team jinxes the game by pointing that out in pre-game chat, making your team complacent and thinking they can win because of comp when that won't matter when the whole opposing team snowballs like there is no tomorrow...
Yeah, something like that.
Sion
Potentially mundo. This is a bit of a complicated question since builds and damage sources and grevious wounds can make a difference.
Who Is the Tankiest Tank?
70% damage reduction works out to ~233 armor and magic resistance, that scales really well with actual armor and magic resistance.
If he has 233 armor and MR, his ult will cause him to take 9% damage.
Another way of looking at his ult is that it's basically a 233% current HP shield.
Tankiest you can get with skills that actually encourage building tanky.
nobody. the tankiest tank will die in 3-5 seconds at most in focus fire
So who will live the longest? That's what he is asking.
Kayle with her ult, trynd with his ult
