Why can I buy an Elixir when I am dead?
The clock on the Elixir runs while I am dead, what is the point, if I buy it when I am dead, at least wait for me to spawn to start the timer. Rito pls

Savage Devi4 votesThe buff timer increases by the amount of time you have left to respawn. So if you've got 30 seconds left dead, the buff duration increases by 30 seconds. Thus there is no problem.

Sukishoo1 votesPretty sure it's meant to be there like if you need a boost the moment you're up and like enemies are in your base. You can grab it while you are dead or right as you are about to spawn.
Azules5001 votesThe elixir timer adds your death timer into its overall time (I have no idea why Rito didn't just code it to start running when you respawned). So, say you had a 60s death timer when you bought it, the elixir duration will be for 4 mins (3 min + death timer).
