While being kited straight backwards and having 100% poison uptime. Also diving me under a turret. Through Seraph and Zhonya. And then getting out while still having about 40% of his health.
Without Seraph + Zhonya, I only survived about 5 seconds before he auto'd me to death.

If he's too squishy, he just does before doing anything.
If he does too little damage, he can be safely ignored.
If he's not sticky enough, people just run away until his ult's down.
If he isn't too squishy, does enough damage, and sticks well enough, then he gets to press R and kill whichever member of the opposing team he wants, and there's nothing anyone can do about it.
Currently, he's "balanced" by making him unfightable early game, a coin-flip mid game, and get shredded by any adc before he lands a single Q lategame, which gives him an average winrate not too far off 50%, but it's just a band-aid for thoughtless design.

His ult grants him damage at the cost of tankiness, building tanky helps counter the defense lost. Cass is super squishy His ult prevents disables He's faster than Cass. He had an adaptive helm. Cinderhulk also does damage.

Exactly, basically going in until he dies (passive giving him more AS, ult making him invulnerable to slows, spammable Q, Life steal). A true brainless warrior, and this is the reason I really love this champion's design, simple, not overloaded, fitting his theme

Yes, I should have given him the top inhibitor turret + inhibitor and let him end the game, instead of making the mistake of trying to defend it while the other four players on his team sieged our bottom turret.

In all seriousness, few squishies can kite Olaf when his ult is up, much less if he can consistently land his axes. That's how he's always been.

Grift981 votesOlaf has always been this way. It was even worse when his ult gave him armor pen instead of dmg (I miss old Olaf). He has decent ratio's (so Ga is amazing on him), high base dmg, and spammable true dmg, along with the fact he has built in lifesteal (w) he can feel oppressive but I feel he has to get a decent lead to do what you're saying he's doing. I have had games where I've fed and done absolutely nothing (two shot second I enter fight) and there are games where I go 18/3 because I got an early lead and snowballed. So he was probably just way ahead of you which let him make that ballsy play
