so those missions. are they proof of concept?

it would be nice if there was eventually more to it than quests during events.

like eventually a quest line that could be started for each individual champion and would eventually unlock that champion icon as a summoner icon for example.

could be worthwile to think if masery was tied into that system, and the blue essence as a requirement for mastery 7 was done away with.

i just noticed another thing. riot recently mentioned, that missions are going to replace the drop system for key fragments.

right now it seems the only way to get those is to collect 40 tokens just for a fragment. isnt that a bit excssive? i mean if it was 40 tokens for a whole key, ok. but a single fragment after 2 or 3 days of completing these missions seems a bit weak, when there is alternative content to get for the tokens.

it pretty much means that youre going to pour every token you get during the even just into key fragments to open your regular mastery chests.

Naw, honour is replacing the drop system for fragments, not missions.

Missions (which I do believe they're going to have a whole variety of, including lots of champ specific ones not tied to specific events) look like they will just provide the opportunity to get some extra fragments on top of your potential 12 from random drops (soon to be from honour in 7.13).
