All jokes aside it actually feels good knowing that if they start baron we have a legitimate amount of time to get there before it dies.

I've had multiple enemy teams try to start baron after they ace us with really low hp and having multiple people get executed because they are used to old baron. Makes me smile.

Depending on comp, u should be able to still do baron.

Depending on if your sustained DPS AKA ADC lived, u should be able to still do baron.

Fixed that for you. Hurray for an indirect buff to the ADC role, they really needed it.

If you don't have a dedicated shielded - healer in the team, like Karma, Janna etc, it's hard to take at 20 minutes, at least without mountain drakes. ADCs really do take a lot of damage by Baron right now and don't have the sustain to heal it back up.

It's still quite easy to take at 35 minutes when ADCs do a lot of damage and can sustain, while tanks can handily tank it.

Trigger warning upopular opinion INC.

The buffs to baron are awful they make him take way to long and he is way to hard to kill. Acing the other team with 3 members alive only to not be able to take Baron during the death timers because your ADC ones of of the two to die feels fucking awful at 25mins. Nothing quite like losing a game when 8 towers up because the team that got aced respawned and got to baron just in time to steal it and wipe you. It was a fantastic powershift even more to the ADC role. Great job riot! Kappa

Yep, this is an unpopular opinion. Games feel more even now to be honest. It was a great change. You actually have to use your brain now when deciding whether to take Baron or not. It's no longer who gets there first gets it.

They feel more like you need to pick tanks, shield/heal sups and keep your marksman alive. I'm sorry but hand holding boosted players isn't my idea of fun, it's just another way the most important role can hold me back. Don't like it.

You can simple do baron or you can't making it harder to take Baron doesn't make it doesn't make it "take more brain" it means classes that are important to taking baron like Tanks and sustained DPS are more important, as if they weren't already to important.

Oh yes it does. You can no longer take it with one or two other people just because some moron on the enemy team decided to feed you. A 11-2 Yi can no longer just casually stroll on by with someone and just decide to take it on a whim. It has to be a calculated decision now which is how it should have always been.

Baron is supposed to be hard to take

This will be unpopular because it's dumb. Baron should be a damn challenge and a team objective. Taking it with half your team dead when your primary dps is dead should be really hard, otherwise what's the damn point.

Yeah and what sucks is my teams aren't aware of it taking longer, try and force me to help them rush baron when we are all around lvl 12, then the enemy team 5 mans us takes baron and we lose the game.
