My current idea for Galio Changes
Hey guys, me again. Happy New Year yall, To start off the new year I'll list off HUGE changes that I feel would make Galio into a healthier champion.
First:
These First set of changes is to weaken Galios burst slightly, reduce his wave clear strength. This is done by reducing base damage on his passive and increasing the MR Ratio, also hitting Q damage from gust in base and ratio while increasing tornado base damage, then push his W into the direction of his old kit to give clearer strengths/weaknesses.
Passive:
Damage changed to 10 − 70 (based on level) (+ 100% AD) (+ 50% AP) (+ 50% bonus magic resistance) total magic damage to its target and all enemies around it.
Q:
Gust Magic Damage changed to: 60 / 100 / 140 / 180 / 220 (+ 80% AP)
Total Tornado Magic Damage: 7.5% (+ 4% per 100 AP) of target's maximum health
W:
Damage reduction removed. Replaced with On Damage Heal Initial Healing: 20 / 35 / 50 / 65 / 80 (+ 30% AP, + 15% MR) (each subsequent healing tick is 15% weaker than the last one) (75% Effectivness against Physical Damage)
Afterwards I would maybe go with secondary changes depending on how those land:
W:
Magic shield removed.
R:
Magic shield added.
Shield Strength: 5 / 7.5 / 10% ( + 2% per 100 MR) of his Maximum Health as a Magic Shield
Damage 125 / 200 / 300 (+ 75% AP) (+ 25% of current magic shield)
These second set of changes are to push some of Galios Tankiness against mages a little back until he hits 6 giving more windows to punish Galio before he hits 6 and starts getting items.
This will also make Galios ultimate more interesting since itlldeal a little more damage, and provide players a more distinct 6/11/16 power spike.
Overall these changes would help against the huge amount of waveclear Galio has
Incentivize more MR to be built into his kit, which in turn ups how tanky he is an hurts his clear and possibly mana pool in return.
Open up more MR items to Galio
Hit the amount of power his Q has and force Galio to use more Mana since Q does slightly less damage
Open up usage in his W to Heal which can promote charging a W as well as incentive to use the spell more often, which will hit his mana pool further.
