Athene's needs shield + heal power
Hello! Just wanted to bring up this concept for all of the Utility players that play mid.
The general idea is that we give Athene's unholy grail a shield + heal bonus, while lowering the healing effect it gives to keep it as a healthy item. The reasoning behind this change is so that players can actually shield themselves more to survive better.
Overall it would heal your team the same amount, just now you can shield yourself for a little bit more (10% heal shield bonus).
Lux Orianna Lulu etc So let's say you rush this item right now in the game, completely understandable to rush it.. but when your ADC flashes out of the fight and you try to shield yourself (Keep in mind Athene's only grants magic resist and not AD). So in match ups against Pyke, or any ADC in the lane means going Athene's is instant death.
In general, the whole concept behind Athene's is that you constantly poke, making your shields heal. But without a heal+shield bonus to the item, you die in the middle of trying to poke.
was a decent item when it had +20% cdr and mana regen was more common. Now it's a terrible item because it's stats are really weak and healing is not noticeable at all. It would be great if it came back as first item alternative to
