At this point I think Riot should reset to season 4 and start over.

Maybe I just speak for myself on this, but it feels like every change Riot makes is just 1 step forward and 2 steps back trying to correct game elements they already had but removed.

Remember when forming a team composition for a specific goal was actually a thing as opposed to autolocking Irelia or Akali and steamrolling the map?

Remember when tanks actually felt like they could survive more than 4 seconds and all their resistances were negated by half the damage items?

Remember when we had 30 slots to customize our Champions base stats to our liking instead of just three?

Remember when you could be successful playing independently by split pushing and not having to rotate around the map for objectives you're forced to get with incompetent teammates or lose?

Remember when you could pick wacky combinations of items, runes and masteries and still feel like you're having fun and playing successfully? (AP WW comes to mind)

They keep trying to fix these problems through creative means but everytime they try another aspect just gets worse. We have a serious problem if we're all very comfortable saying that every season after 5 is worse than the last, along with so much more hostility towards these preseason changes. In my opinion I think it's time for Riot to just reset the clock and remember what people really liked about this game.
