I need tips for playing against a few champions

I don't know if everyone is in the same boat as me, but for some reason, there are certain champions I can stomp in every game and others where I don't do so well regardless of how well or consistently I play. So, here are the champions I can easily beat with Vladimir : Ekko , Heimerdinger , Karthus , Lux , Orianna , Syndra , TwistedFate , Veigar , Ziggs, Talon, Ahri, Zilean, Azir .

And these are the champions I'm having trouble with:

Velkoz , Brand , Fiddlesticks , Cassiopeia , Kassadin , Katarina , Malzahar , Ryze , Swain , Xerath , Yasuo , Zed.

So I'm thinking to myself, if I knew how to play against these champions better, maybe I could make it out of silver?

well one way to know how to beat them is to play them and learn them

Its all about side-stepping. You just have to get used to their spells, travel speeds, trajectories, and cool downs. As Vlad you don't need to dodge 100% to win the lane, just about a bit more than half (since you can sustain some damage back).

That said, everyone has their bogeyman matchups.

I'm surprised you can beat Orianna consistently but cannot deal with Velkoz. For me a good Orianna is super painful and her ball seems to have no cool down.

Fiddles is all point and click so the trick is to NOT TRADE with him, build MR, and you will outscale him in usefulness and damage at 2-3 items.

I've played lots of Zed and Yasuos. For Yasuo you avoid using E, just keep kiting him with autos and Qs; try to not stand too near the minions if you know he can dash up to you. He can't windfall your Qs. Dodge tornadoes, harass with Qs and autos, if he gets low you can all in him with Ult.

As for Zed, his Shurikens SUCK if he doesn't hit 2 of them. Make him miss his shadow + double shrunken combo. Every time its down, he has 20+ seconds where he can't shadow again. Also, be careful about him teleporting to his shadow to auto you for tons of damage. Its very hard for him to kill you if all he's doing is landing single Shurikens (you'll just sustain back) but you MUST dodge his shadow + spin + double shrunken combos. Once you have Zhonyas you should be fine.

Oh, and you should consider taking Amor Yellows when against Zed/Yasuo. Amor Yellows bring in a lot more defensive stats than Scaling Health. You lose some offence but they won't chunk you half as hard.

The Fiddlesticks advice helped me the most( No wonder I can never seem to win ), although I will also try to keep some Armor Yellows next time I fight Zed/Yasuo as well.

Katarina is super predictable. Her daggers do the most damage so when she has a dagger near you, consider using your w to punish her for getting it or when she ults because one of her combos is getting a dagger in the middle of the enemy team and using it, w and ulti for max damage.
