I agree it fits his theme extremely well. The problem i have with it, is that it feels wonky to use, a couple examples are:
the "useless after six items" argument is because that's kind of true, even a champ like Ornn who technically speaking, after 6 items doesnt really have a passive, BUT he still got a stronger version of an item, or someone / everyone on his team did. With Draven after 6 items, theres nothing you can use the bonus gold for, in theory you could get like 1000g from it but with 6 items, it does nothing for you.
And the fact that a majority of the stacks get dropped after every death sucks, ive been unlucky enough to get 4 assists, with 380ish stacks, then i die once or twice and it was wasted. But on the other side, even getting a lot of kills doesn't really necessarily mean you're making good use of his passive, since again they reset after each kill and you get a pay out. So really not getting the opportunity to stack it, means you're getting next to nothing from it (25g extra isnt bad, but its not really good)
As for something that would make it feel better, i dont really know. Maybe adding some sort of minimum limit to cash in / lose the stacks?
As an example:
Make 150 stacks the minimum needed to cash in from adoration stacks (not the 25g extra) but also he cant lose his stacks til he gets to 150. This'll give him a reasonable amount of gold IF he cashes in, and will give him a chance to make use of his passive even when behind. It'll keep the feast or famine element in his kit, but still be able to have some breathing room.
Other champs that have the feast or famine play style can still get their stacks without losing power / effectiveness from death, and even get them from assists (
)
Also, i'm not a Draven main, i dont even like the champion, i just feel like his passive can use some sort of work.
