Ok Riot, it was funny, but now it's time to revert the deaths dance experiment

Fiora Actual cancer. One of the things that kept her somewhat fine is that she wouldn't be healing off of all that extra fuckshit of true damage she did on top of the fact that she has an in-built heal when she hits the vitals anyways. Now she can hit a vital and just heal for an ungodly amount of fucking hp. I await op.gg updating for patch 8.24 and telling us the story of the champ named fiora who now rushes DD in every fucking matchup.

Irelia Congratulations, you took the time to nerf her and then done fucked it up with the deaths dance change which basically brings her power level back to where she was if not actually higher than it was before. Run conquerer and heal for days anyways ontop of Q innate heal.

Those two are the most egregious examples that come to mind, but I don't doubt that many more champs are gunna pick up this bullshit since now conquerer isn't going to gigacuck their healing potential.

Just revert deaths dance, the experiment was a failure, stop. If you seriously go through combing every fucking abuse case you're going to lopside the game's balance even more for no reason.

Your choices:

Revert deaths dance

vs

change potentially a dozen fucking champions and/or conquerer itself.

Not enough said, the data isn't anywhere near sufficient and those are both a patch old.

You might want to recall that we're on patch 8.24 before making yourself look like an ass.

No, the "smarter than you player that showed the most recents statistic about 2 champions you are whining about, and telling you to actually WAIT for 8.24 data before...looking like an ass". Btw I actually specified that data was from 8.23 (the...most recent data available atm) so your "smart remark" about the fact that we are in the 8.24 was actually embarrassing to read.

Oh joy, the numbers of the new patch are arrived!

Fiora 49,26% Irelia.....mid 45,32%, top 46,89%

Whooops!

win rate dosent say ANYTHING.

Yeah, that's EXACTLY who doesn't understand a single thing about this game always says. And Akali is super hated not because is super strong, just because her kit is very toxic.

Nope, they won't and they never will.

you know broken isnt just damage right?

Yeah cause win rate is there just to somehow measure the "damage" of a champ, right? LOL

No. it shows literally. WIN rate. oh my gosh.

When a champion is doing slightly better than others they seem to have a high win rate for a period. Once it becomes clear that the champion is "OP" many others try him out hoping for a "free" win. However when they don't practice him at all then the win rate goes back down. (only one example )

go to lets say huzzy games or ls. both said winrate dosent mean anything.

just go to this post in the comments a lot of people explane what i cannot cuz you wont listen to just me https://www.reddit.com/r/summonerschool/comments/7dl0rb/why_dont_win_rates_matter/

No. it shows littaraly. WIN rate. oh my gosh.

I Was Sarcastic Genius

You told me something TOTALLY absurd ("you know broken isn't just damage"), when I didn't even MENTIONED damage and I answer sarcastically. Like...HOW did you not grasped it? Oh boy, I would be SO embarrassed in your shoes right now, LOL.

When a champion is doing slightly better than others they seem to have a high win rate for a period.

So, you went from "win rate doesn't mean anything at all!11" to "there are FRINGE cases were a champ can see a temporary spike in his/her win rate for reasons beyond his/her true strength", glad you took a step in the right direction. Let me be more precise, so you can learn something: a good win rate in high elo in the VAST MAJORITY of the cases simply means that the champ is...strong, period. Like I said, there are possible FRINGE cases: maybe has a very low pick rate (hence making the statistic about him/her less reliant AND adding other factors to the mix like him/her being mainly played by few dedicated OTP, him/her not being usually seen, making it harder to be countered cause the enemies literally don't know him/her very well and so forth). But that's all they are: FRINGE CASES. The general rule is still simple as 2+2: "good win rate in high elo=strong champ", period.

PS I genuinely think you misunderstood the content of the link you gave me btw, cause is focused on a totally different matter, despite the title. They are basically all arguing if is smart or not to switch to the "OP champs of the month" every time they arise or not to climb, and is not the same issue at ALL.

you cant tell if someone is Sarcastic on the internet you know righty?

what it means is when champ looks good and "op" players want free win so they go on him and feed,

You totally can. And in your case was SUPER easy to spot.

this "When a champion is doing slightly better than others they seem to have a high win rate for a period. Once it becomes clear that the champion is "OP" many others try him out hoping for a "free" win. However when they don't practice him at all then the win rate goes back down. And was about a super fringe case, like I have already said. While the vast majority of the discussion revolved around other stuff.

btw about "good win rate in high elo=strong champ", period."

Again, you post link that you DON'T understand. Like, at all. That guy is a PROFESSIONAL PLAYER and he was talking from a PROFESSIONAL PLAYER POINT OF VIEW. In other words...TOURNAMENTS. He didn't precise "good win rate IN SOLO Q" for nothing, his point was "what's good in solo Q isn't necessarily good in competitive play" and that's totally true ofc (Ryze historically struggle in solo Q and do well in competitive). LCS and solo q are two TOTALLY different worlds, while I was clearly talking about solo Q cause is the ONLY context that really matters for normal players.

If you really think the stats mean something when that champion is broken u are wrong... The win rate doesn't mean anything.

I don't really see Death's Dance being much of an issue because I don't think it has ever been in the first three items of any champion's build order.

Tiamat->TriForce->Sterak's->Hydra

Is Death's Dance significantly good enough to replace that build order?

Or... are we saying Death's Dance will replace something bought even later than that? Are we replacing Guardian Angel... Boots?
