I feel like Riot doesn't know what a Juggernaut is

Subject 5··4 votes·905 views

Nothing says juggernaut quite like self healing, long range pulls, AOE zoning capabilities, an overloaded kit and abilities to prevent yourself from being kited.

Don't worry, the real juggernauts are waiting to be realized. Nasus Sion

(Sions legendary title is literally, Juggernaut. Just wow. I get it, Garen with a sword and armor is what makes a juggernaut a juggernaut.)

TL;DR: Riot is already stumbling over their words of defining a juggernaut with the new champion.

Sion has huge AoE zoning potential, so uh...

Riot has been pretty consistent with what a Juggernaut is; low mobility, high damage, limited utility. Illaoi isn't any different in that generalization, she just offers high AoE potential in order to shine as the teamfighter of the group as opposed to reset-rampages, anti-carry mechanics or ghost dragons.

THIS is what Garen, Darius and Fiora are. http://puu.sh/lgTo1/42571467ec.png

Darius is one of the most kiteable champions in the game. Way more than Garen.

Also Fiora is not part of the juggermaut update.

Nobody said Fiora was a juggernaut but she was a part of the juggernaut update.

No she wasn't. Her rework along with GPs just came out around the time the juggernaut update was completed

The champions that took part of the juggernaut update were Darius Morde Skarner and Garen

How does Darius have shit in his kit that makes him hard to kite? You mean his one pull? lol

Q Speed buff for his items with furor, W cripple slow and E for a pull. It is pretty hard to kite a dude running at you with 470 MS, a slow, a Q that applies a speed buff and a pull. Too much damage for him to be just a tank or at least the definition of tank in this game. Too reliable to really be considered a juggernaut by actual definition. He is just a berserker running into the enemy team with his full tank build dealing high burst damage and good DPS damage. One reason why I've started to pick up Vayne is because of the knock back. Then again, if Nasus has a pull. Would he be considered a juggernaut?

Edit And healing himself for practically 30% of his HP every Q. Here, let me focus the enemy Vayne while he is gutting me down.

Stuff from items arent things in his kit. If they were then any ADc who builds tri force would counter darius's bonus from BC and if they have a PD or Statikk they have bonus MS as well. Also i can only think if 3 ADC's who do not have a reliable escape. If darius misses his pull, he has absolutely 0 way of getting to a carry.

I have mained Darius since his release and can tell you that old Darius is much better than new Darius. Also old Darius was much scarier than new darius. New Darius can't W-R your ADC and instakill them.

just curious but how was old darius significantly better? not saying im an expert it just seems like before he was very feast of famine and now he does well in most cases which i think would be a buff an overall buff even if it was a nerf to some specifics like laning phase

He's better now to most people because he is good at all points in the game and doesn't have to worry about getting fed to do well.

Old Darius was Feast or Famine but if he was fed the game was absolutely over. You had 0 chance of coming back on a fed Darius pre- rework as his Raw damage was so damn high he could easily build two damage items and one shot your carry. However if you didn't get fed yyou were useless.

Us Darius mains who were really good with him prefer the previous Darius as we could carry much harder and we knew how to get him to that point
