I dont know where this game went wrong .. but it has. LoL used to be the "oh why play dota/HoN their community is so unfriendly" "LoLs community is much more friendly" Nowadays you cant play a game without just giving up on humanity .. "buhu i main mid but you took, buhu im gonna troll and feed". And the most commen. - i fed FB, better blame it on the support. You cant even play a damn normal game (which is without STATS, you gain nothing and you lose nothing) and still .. ppl rather feed then try to play something else then their so called "Main". I get so damn pissed because noone wants to even try anymore .. wtf happend to the spirit in this game? AND the thing that makes me wanna just delete LoL, and throw my computer out the window is.. You turned around a lost game and there is a chance that you can win .... "BUT NO i said it was over! i refuse to leave the base and just win this because then i will have said all these mean things and "AFK" for nothing! i mean i have my pride to think about here!" WTF is wrong with ppl? is it more importen to prove that you where right about losing this game then winning??? With all this said i know some of you are gonna say " Why dont you stop playing and delete the game then" "oh you are just mad cuz bad" and to all of you guys .. You are the reason this game is so F-in cancer.

The design of Summoner's Rift encourages toxic behavior. For two reasons, mainly. The first is the snowbally nature of the map leading to a defeatist attitude. The second is the fact that someone can loose the game for you by feeding in the lane phase. You're now losing and it is completely out of your control because another lane did poorly (or because you did poorly, but that's another topic).

In the thousands of games I played over in Dominion land, I can recall playing with toxic crusaders maybe twenty times. It simply wasn't a thing that happened there. The game was too fast-paced for people to have time to flame each other. And more than that, it was a team game to boot AND it didn't snowball. Comebacks were not only possible, they were common. The game was never over until your Nexus exploded. And if it was one sided? Then it was over in ten minutes anyway.

Basically, Riot has shitty, toxic players because their main mode is a shitty, toxic map.

I firmly believe that snowballing is directly correlated to toxicity.

RIP dominion, I never used to take an interest in it before because I was a summoners rift scrub. But now that it's gone I still miss it since I'm so absolutely fed up with SR normals and ranked.

Naw the mind set for what he just said is pretty accurate. but that's what you get from a free to play game. The main issue really with this is there is no Solid punishment for actions that were listed above. yea riot some times bans and suspends but its Free to play and people by this point have 1-3 accounts.

Also take into effect that its super easy to just farm up a account to 30 in no time, So with that said unlike the other games you can just troll on your additional account and simply play smart on your own good account ( unless you're a fool and tie all accounts to the same email ) The main difference between Dota and this right now is Dota is tied to a steam account and usually If you're really bad and get banned you need to start up a entire new steam account to play Dota again, while In league all you lose is just the one account and its easy to start a new one.

as for toxicity lvls and complaints This has been on going for years.. its why I quit playing for 3 years all my friends left because they were tired of being told That their Family members would be raped, murdered, and so on, or told to go die or get cancer or aids and blah blah on a daily basis. so really I only play now because a family member accidently got me a gift card for it in December and I got me some skins other then that the games still fun, its just the community that makes it miserable at times.

That's the third part of the unholy trinity of toxicity creation.

Snowbally games, lane-phase creating scapegoats, and people being unable to pick their champ/position.

Riot had that last one fixed for a while. But then they went and managed to fuck that up, too.
