Remind me why Anivia is balanced?

Q and E half shots you at lvl 2 even if you escape the q after it hits you. At lvl 6 she can just use her instant cast R then hit E and that chunks the fuck out of you. On top of that she can dominate teamfights because aoe stun, wall, and ult is an infinite slow with rylais. You better not try and fucking tower dive her either because of her egg.

Request #1 make the E do double damage only if you're currently stunned by the q not if you were previously hit by it. Request #2 Make E do double damage only if you're in the ult, not if you've walked out already. Request #3 Make her ult have a channel time of at least .5 seconds. instant cast is cancerous.

She has 0 mobility, is medium ranged, has only 1 hard cc (and it's a skillshot), and moderate cooldowns. She also has (or at least used to have) serious mana issues unless she buys 1-2 mana items.

very few champs have hard cc so its not really a con like you make it seem

It's never the less a con.

Anivia is incredibly awful to lane against because of her fast projectile Q stun, her E-R half-health combo (neither of which take really any effort) and her passive which gives her near invulnerability during laning. But outside of that, unless she gets fed, like Jester said, with no mobility, a skillshot CC, and no real multi-target damage (because her R by itself is easy to just get out of and the E is single target point and click) and mana issues without mana items, she's not that bad.

EDIT: My bad, didn't realize how slow her Q was.

Her Q is slowest projectile in game.

Eh, is it? checks

Oh, it is. My bad. It just feels fast when I go against her for some reason. Which is sort of weird, because Morg Q is like 350 units faster or whatever, but Morg's Q feels far slower.

"Fast Q" lol It's speed is 850. It's one of the slowest if not the slowest skillshots.

If you make an "X champ is OP" post, you should play them first. You will find out their weaknesses.

to be fair, its not that she doesnt have weaknesses, but she honnestly has very good base dmg on her abilities and her combo is actually quite easy to pull without a lot of effort and her cc is not an issue for experiences anivia players. and that passive during laning is annoying.

Thatg being said, she cant afford a mistake when her passive is down. many champs can take the fight to her. But for a midlaner, shes just a complete nightmare. Issue is that her opponents cannot make a mistake either as their mistake is punished more harshly than the other way around.
