You mean the same Windwall that Yasuo players don't even level until level 8 top lane where almost everyone is melee, also, with 230 games sample size?*

Ralanr4 votes

HahahahaHAHAHAHA!!!

Nobody who complains about Yasuo's windwall gives a shit about fighting Yasuo top. I can't think of many match ups in top where suddenly his windwall wins everything.

It's mid that hates his wall in lane, which he surprisingly gets at 4 in the highest winrate.

Spicy Rice1 votes

Fun fact, you can windwall fiora's parry so it doesnt stun you

Ralanr1 votes

Her parry only stuns from hard CC. So Yasuo can only do that if he's mastered animation canceling.

Yaśuo Main1 votes

im pretty sure, flora's parry slow is a projectile

You posted the link to Yasuo top. You know...that lane full of melees where the wall doesn't really matter for much. Take a look at mid lane or teamfights (because most of the windwall complaints are related to teamfights if you payed attention) you'd know how broken it is

Yasuo mid? What's that?

43.37% of the yasuos in games are played mid, it's not exactly uncommon

Yeah that is what kind of happens when you pick top as your first pick and get mid instead.

Slythion2 votes

and? That isn't even remotely related to the discussion.

We were talking about how Yasuo is still played mid quite a lot and that's where his windwall is usually utilized to it's full potential.

what you deserve4 votes

I don't care about his windwall. Get rid of his passive shield.

PureSilvrr2 votes

Keep the passive shield, get rid of the double crit

Yaśuo Main1 votes

Keep the double crit, get rid of the 0.5 to 0.1 E dash

PureSilvrr1 votes

How about, we remove the WHOLE passive and E, and up the ult's cooldown, then give him a less annoying passive, e, and mana costs and mana costs

Tbh the E isn't really the problem PASSIVE IS STUPID AND BROKENe Q is fine W Is tolerable if we make above said changes E shouldn't do damage, but it makes Yasuo who he is R Either needs a change, or a longer cooldown.

GULAG 4 U2 votes

You're literally just trying to nerf him into the ground. You would need to buff him by massive amounts if you did this, and you'd create more problems without solving anything significant. You clearly have no idea of what you're talking, so I'm kindly going to ask for you to stfu about Yasuo. Have a nice day!

Kilanost1 votes

Keep everything as is and penalize the free additional lifesteal he gets from the free crit by compensating with 60% benefit from lifesteal.

Yaśuo Main1 votes

very good trade off, i like it

GULAG 4 U1 votes

Do you want tanksuo? Because that's how you get tanksuo.

I seriously don't understand why the hell do people complain about double crit so much when you could just grab a ninja's tabi. Yes mages can get it too, it's better so survive than get a petty 10% cdr/15 mpen.

Akenero1 votes

The shield is the thing that pisses me off most. At least make it not factor resistances, my god. Or just remove it :D Fuck that shield.

GULAG 4 U1 votes

He has no mr per level for it.

GULAG 4 U1 votes

You do realize without the shield Yasuo would be forced to eat your poke for free? You would need to give him tryndamere levels of base stats if you did so.

You mean like every AD and AP Melee Mid?

Why does Yasuo get a free pass?

GULAG 4 U1 votes

Most ad mids have much safer poke on the other hand. Same thing for melee AP mids. Also Yasuo's mid lane is about getting in your face, he needs the shield. He also posses no Mr per level because of that.

ChaddyFantome1 votes

I lol'd. The only one is Zed.

Yasuo has better and more reliable poke with his Q3 tornado than Talon does with his W, especially since he actually uses mana, so he can't even use it freely or he'd run himself oom.

Same thing for melee AP mids.

Please inform me as to what form of poke Fizz possesses, let alone it being reliable?

Also Yasuo's mid lane is about getting in your face,

that is literally every melee champ.

he needs the shield. He also posses no Mr per level because of that.

WTF? No champ in the game has MR per level outside of a few exceptions like Galio. This isn't something unique to Yasuo.

You are doing a terrible job of defensing that ball of cancer.

GULAG 4 U1 votes

I said most? can you not read?

Also every single melee champion gets MR per level, you're the one who doesn't know shit.

Fizz has the ability to turn untargetable and one of his weaknesses is meant to have a shit laning, do you not know?

Talon's W stll pokes okay. He also has a slightly better laning phase with the Q health return

Also If you somehow get hit by Yasuo's extremely telegraphed skillshot, that's your problem.

You Yasuo QQers don't know shit about the champion and pretend like you know everything. It's ridiculous.

Please list some then because my list ran dry.

From my point of reference here, your "most" isn't even accurate if not outright false.

Also every single melee champion gets MR per level, you're the one who doesn't know shit.

I stand corrected. ;o

Fizz has the ability to turn untargetable

Yes, because Fizz is gonna constantly use his E and run himself oom whenever someone tries to poke him amirite? By this logic, Yasuo shouldn't even have a shield since he has Windwall.

and one of his weaknesses is meant to have a shit laning, do you not know?

I'm gonna pretend this has any merit as an argument for the next line. If that were the case than why is Yasuo allowed to have a strong one since he is such a lategame monster, while fizz actually falls off mid to late game?

Talon's W stll pokes okay. He also has a slightly better laning phase with the Q health return

His W 's main purpose is lane is last hitting and applying passive stacks.

As actual poke it is not only mediocre, but a bad idea because he will run himself oom, an issue Yasuo doesn't have to deal with since his resource instead of being a crutch is a free shield for walking around and dashing.

His Q has a mana cost and the refund is very minimal.

Yasuo's flow legit regens from fuckign walking. Walking and dashing.

If Talon is using his Q to recover HP, he is both dumping mana to merely survive laning, and the heal is neglibeable past laning phase.

Yasuo's flow is not only actually relevant past lane, but refreshes on ulti as well as by dashing around and walking, at no real cost.

Someone popped your flow? It's k, imma just set up W, Dash on the minions a whole bunch and then click on the map a few times.

All better.

Dying from ignite? its K. imma just dash a lot and walk a bit.

I think people need to remember that we are talking about a resourceless champion here.

Also If you somehow get hit by Yasuo's extremely telegraphed skillshot, that's your problem.

"extremely telegraphed"

Yes because he totally can't dash up to use and use it t point black and then dash back while the CC prevents u from doign anything

because he totally can't hold on to the thing for 5evers.

because he totally doesn't get Free CDR on his Q for attack speed so he is throwing tornadoes every 5 seconds if he gets even just a bit of attack speed.

Because the tornado totally doesn't crit and apply on hit effects.

Because him merely having ti up totally doesn't zone everyone from the minion wave.

With all this in mind, i fail to understand why he "needs" the shield outside of thematic.

You Yasuo QQers don't know shit about the champion and pretend like you know everything. It's ridiculous.

I personally have no issues laning against Yasuo. i have done it so much at this point that I have gotten numb to his bullshit, and even usually duck the fucker in lane.

Doesn't stop him from getting 1-2 items and then proceeding to pretend like he was never dunked on because Blasuo, but I digress.

you Yasuo mains being unwilling to admit he is problematic and unwilling to concede to even THAT MUCH is ridiculous. I don't wanna see the guy gutted like most people, but if you aren't even so much as willing to admit the guy needs to get something dropped, then no amount of common sense and reasoning will penetrate the think wall of bias that surrounds your skull.

Yasuo requires way more attention and patience and work to be played around than he does playing around everyone else because of how ridiculous he is as a champion.

He also breaks so many fundamental rules about the game you are taught since the beginning.

Minions are supposed to provide protection and safety , yet being near your minions is the last thing you wanna do when near the guy.

He gets way to much free chizz as well, all of ti applied it a way that feels like you have to strip away layer after layer after layer before you can even hope to do anythign to the guy, and even if you do dunk him, he is still gonna be cancer anyway because of the freebies he gets basically making it impossible to cement a lead on him.

He has been cancer since release and it is no coincidence.

GULAG 4 U1 votes

I'm not a Yasuo main Fyi. Look at my profile a second. I couldn't care less if Yasuo got nerfed a bit.

Also Yasuo's E is plenty of predictable unless he E-Flash-Qs you. It's pretty easy to dodge and setting your cc right where he'll come out of the dash isn't something unrealistic to do.

Talon's laning phase isn't strong, and I'm almost certain it's meant to be that way.

I don't know much about fizz, as I don't play him. I'm pretty sure that after the rework he doesn't fall off as hard anymore because of the ult increasing in radius.

Yasuo can definitively hold on his nado for way too long, this is something I agree with.

Also the shield has a pretty significant downtime and his E doesn't refill it anymore, so dashing around is actually fucking you up if you're trying to get it back.

And yes there are some things on Yasuo that shouldn't be there are there, mostly being the W's cast hitbox.

Also his E doesn't really zone you completely in minion waves. It's a double edged sword, using it at his advantages also costs him minion aggro.

Also with the 2 items thing about Yasuo. If he actually manages to instant comeback after 2 items, it's either

  1. you've done something wrong
  2. He wasn't that behind

PSA: Do not try to 1v1 Yasuo directly as a mage, he's a skirmisher, unless you're playing one, it's not worth the risk. Well that's if you're not one of ossama bin laden's cultists...

I am not one of the players that complain about windwall. However, it wouldn't hurt to nerf the duration of it.

FourVsFive1 votes

What if they made the wind wall very small and increase in length as it levels? Because My abilites always get canceled when just a sliver of the graphic hits the edge of the long wall.

Dabrick012 votes

Honestly, that is what happens.

Have you seen a max level windwall compared to Level one?

It may be worth something to shorten it at the beginning, but he would never max it until last.

Dabrick011 votes

Level 8? The fuck is wrong with you. We don't even get it till Level 3/4 depending on matchup and we don't touch it till level 14.

If you fucking touch midwall at Level 8, I will smack you the fuck up.

zacktootall1 votes

um how are people still having a problem against this champ?

EndlessSorcerer1 votes

He doesn't take it until required in the top lane when his opponent doesn't have projectiles for it to block.

If you look at his mid-lane skill order, he generally grabs it at level 3 or 4.

Kaioko1 votes

You're looking at Yasuo top and not mid... This means he's not fighting range champs a lot of time... meaning wind wall is useless. Oh but look at that I click on Yasuo mid and it is leveled at 4 right where spells start to hurt.

You mean the same Windwall that Yasuo players don't even level until level 8?

http://champion.gg/champion/Yasuo

Yasuo top players don't take it until that late in the game when their laning opponent is someone who has no projectiles (which is fairly common), and if the enemy jungler also has nothing problematic that Yasuo would want to block with it (so like a Vi or Shyvana). This is the highest win rate ability set-up because it is simply the most efficient for fighting in lane. Wind wall is good if you're against a laner who has a very problematic projectile you want to block (some examples are obvious, like Jayce, but a less obvious one is Riven, a WW against her wind slash can save your life). It is also good against certain junglers who rely on projectiles to function. A good wind wall can save your life from a gank by Nidalee, Ivern, or Lee Sin. But the fact of the matter is it provides no damage. You are spending a point on an ability that only gives you better defense, and doesn't help you do damage to your opponent at all.

So yeah, why would you take it before around eight (coming onto mid game) when no one you will have to deal with uses projectiles? You're more likely to be able to win lane without it.
