Duo lane feels far too much in control of the game compared to everyone else

Just find it kinda comical how it's preached so hard that the game is so much of a team game and we should treat it that way and how solo carrying shouldn't happen because of the nature of team games, meanwhile the Duo lane and Jungler hold so much influence over how the game goes it's insane.

If my bot lane hard lost i'm screwed they're gonna come to my lane take my tower pretty much set me super far behind so i have to always be watching only bot lane for TP oppourtunities, i feel like i have no Freedom in my TP's and it sucks that if i'm not getting my Duo lane ahead some way it's probably not worth incase i need it for that later.

I don't mind jungle outside of the fact at how hard they can just sit on a lane and still be relevant it's just not fun being blocked out of playing and pretty much auto losing off not being able to get CS without being ganked or dove.

I really just feel like i've lost so much freedom in the roles i enjoyed playing i am forced to itemize and play in such a linear way towards victory and it's really drained alot of fun out of the game for me at least.

I mean, when a duo lane and a jungler comprise 60% of each team.....

As an ADC main since Season 4, I can say that I have not felt that my lane was super important for a long, long time.

1 person feeds in ANY OF THE LANES. Games over.

So not really.

It is laughably easy to dive towers even at level 5-6 in this game. So many times I am sitting under tower, not in front, not at river, and the enemy adc and support are pushing and their jungle dives us, we get double killed and are left saying well, we warded, we played safe, but we still lose. If the enemy jungle wants to camp bot you basically have to beg your jungle to babysit you or you are going to die.

In DoTA if my carry gets dove on we can tp in and save, for a cost of 50 gold and tp cooldown along with losing xp, gold, having your prior lane pushed, and now having to walk back to your original lane. In League it's frustrating because for the vast majority of champions you have no way to help them. Your mid may be positioned well, sitting at tower, and boom 3 people dive him. You cannot do anything but push your tower and if it's just a jungle, you cannot even do that.

Jungle matters a lot, Zac and others don't give a hoot if they dive you at level 5 even. They laugh and walk it off and if the enemy is coordinated and juggles aggro, it's pretty hopeless. I feel like I don't even have a safe spot to go to 7 minutes into the game anymore. If you lose bot lane there is very little to come back before the 30-35 minute mark

I think the real problem is the small pool of meta in this game. A few select Rito chosen champs are godly and have impact in more than their lane. Some are so immobile or lack utility that they have to stay in lane and farm to even stay relevant. It feels more that if you are not playing one of the meta champs you are handicapping your team. A lot of us have champs that we have loved playing in the past and have been able to have impact, but due to the rune changes and other updates too many champions are left lacking and forgotten.

well technically the bottom lane has the attack damage CARRY, meaning they should carry your team to victory if theyre good. so I mean they should have majority of control in the game i'd say. people dont understand that every lane has a role.

Same. It will never get better until they diversify away from the stale unflinching "bot sup carry" every single game
