With the ad update and the drop of ap champions will we see galio buffs?

No. He doesn't drop just cause ap champs aren't there, he can counter even AD champs

As a support......... while as a mid laner I can also see why that would drop since galio doesn't synergize with any new keystone, however top it rose by quite alot seeing as galio is a tank with great base/scaling numbers he's now more of a rumble approach to top now.

So no he doesn't need any buffs if anything riot just needs to make a better keystone for someone like galio

Galio is meant for a mid role but he cant hes in a suckier potion like mord.

Actually he is meant for top but his mr passive made him stronger mid however even without fighting ap mages he can still destroy ad the same just takes a little more coordinating to take out marksmen.

I mean in development and release riot wanted galio for top however players found him better at mid due to natural mr+scalings, but when top he can still perform with his natural tankiness such as taunt/slow and a self heal+resistance booster in addition to the tank keystones there are ig now.

There for wouldn't this mean he is meant for mid? You don't make them stronger for another role then say but he is meant for another. He's a tank but meant to ADC. huh that weird

As a support he eats up mana with pokes. Plus his MR passive does little when a supp need Armor more then MR when in lane. Depending who you play and the enemy but in general a tank supp will get item 3302 and item 2049 early neither which help the mana or MR/AP passive of him. And I don't think item 3301 or item 3303 would work well. Yes you get more mane but your to squishy and not enough burst to kill before death.

Galio was made before the meta existed, he was meant to go wherever players wanted to take him. I personally have always taken him top and he wrecks up there.
