you are absolutely right, i can't force you to surrender
however, you can't force me to stop split pushing bottom till it works or we lose

Another wonderful example of how the map design of Rift encourages toxic player behavior.

What? How?
What? How?
Massive snowballing leads to a defeatist attitude. Because Rift isn't really a team map for arguably the most important part of the game you get rampant scapegoating. Those two factors taken together result in a naturally toxic environment.
This sort of stuff never happen in Dominion. I can count the number of toxic players I had to deal with over thousands of games on one hand.
people cared if they won or lost on dominion? werent there less players that actually played dominion then what there are in masters and challenger?

Oh plenty of people cared. Before Riot shut us down we had 150k unique players daily. Less than Rift, obviously, but that's still quite a few folks.
I don't know how it was down in the MMRs where bots would occasionally pop up, but I was generally getting queued with Dominion Players who had Master or Challenger ranks on a daily basis. I mean, hell, I played against Imaqtpie's Yauso and Fiora bottom lane more than a few times. Even if someone wasn't taking things totally seriously on a given day, people at that MMR knew what they were doing.
idk about where bots showed up. I have seen like 3 or 4 bots in my life and that was only on old 3's
I can count the number of people who played Dominion on one hand. Regardless, Dominion was as snow-bally as it got. One team would acquire some sort of advantage, early kills or whatever, and there would be basically nothing you could do. You can't fight the enemy team because their ahead. You can't go capture because they'll just kill you. You can't defend, because then the enemy team can just rotate elsewhere, while your stuck trying to defend.

You've got a hundred fifty thousand fingers? That's pretty weird.

That really isn't true at all? Champion kill XP and gold were both nearly non-existent, getting ahead in equipment was basically impossible unless you were a bottom laner. And both of them typically had an item advantage over top laners due to farming minions. Which, of course, was important since the bottom laner got ganked constantly and needed a leg up over everyone else to do their job.
The biggest level difference I ever saw was two levels, and that was a pretty uncommon occurrence relegated to absolute stomps. Of course, absolute stomps were usually over in ten to fifteen minutes anyway, so who cares? Normal game length at the MMR I was playing at was typically ~20 minutes, which is about what to expect from a standard back and forth game of Dominion.

That tends to happen when the enemy team is much better than you. You were throw-training into points, weren't you?
What is throw-training? What does that even mean?

Diving one by one into a point the enemy has taken on your side of the map instead of waiting for the rest of your team or contesting something else. All aboard the throw-train, chu chu!
That's the most common cause I've seen for games that end up being completely one-sided. Enemy team takes your bottom or mid point and your team panics, diving blindly at the point to try to take it back whilst two enemy champs are defending it. Meanwhile, the rest of their team locks down the rest of the map.
