Knowing what RNG means doesn't help understanding crit chance and giving him the answer would've taken less time and would've been much nicer.

I've tried nice. You'd have better luck trying to knock down a brick wall with your bare skull. When someone makes up their mind, there is no changing it, even if you can put hard numbers in front of them, they'll still deny, deny, deny.

I think they tried taking out crit altogether a few years ago and it was kinda shitty so they put it back in. So they're probably not gonna change it now.

Guess I was thinking of dodge then. I must have read something about them removing dodge and leaving crit and gotten it mixed up.

Random number generator. People think that crits are totally random when in fact they aren't. So long as you have 1% crit chance, every AA that does not crit causes your chances to increase until you crit, at which point it resets to your base crit chance. The system isn't by any means perfect, but it's hardly random as people claim.
