Early or late game carries

So it seems as of the meta has shifted to a mix of early and late game champions. Of course an adc that's good early won't fall off late but it seems that quin is top teir in top abd mid now because she can do good early because of her poke. Caitlyn is good early and midgame and so is mf. Twitch and jhin are late game and are good for safety reasons with jhin's long ass range (same as Caitlyn) and Twitch's escape. Now I'm seeing that kha'zix and rengar are now back to dominating the meta and are good early although rengar's early ganks are kind of meh. Vi hasn't moved ever since she's been top teir in the past few months and is good early and scales well. Pantheon is also at the top and so are talon and jayce who fall off late. Camile is late game and still powerful af. Anyways enough about the meta champions and this long ass description. I'm in low elo like 95% of the players and I've seen more games ending early but if they don't, the late game carries make a comeback. In eary game, I can tilt the other team or if late game does happen, I can drive through all thoes guys who don't scale. What I want to know is should I play more of the early game champions or late game champions and leave adc's out because I suck at that role as for who I should play. So should I be playing the pantheons and talon's(early to mid game) or should I be playing the hypercarries (late game).

All of my games I can single handedly manage to stall them out for 30 mins and have like 250 cs and a couple kills to carry lategame. I'd say lategame, but if you're in high elo and games end in like 15 mins then go early.

I currently main shyvana jg who scales late and if you do what I do where if the game goes super super late and sell boots for pd and if even later, my jg item for is, then you've got someone who is tanky with crits. But if I get top, I ply Pantheon so o can be an abusive parent and kill bitches until late game which is why I build bruiser and it helps in teamfights so I can survive after diving someone. For lanners, that's the kind of champion I enjoy since in jg, early game jg's tend to have issues clearing excepf k6 and that rengo fucker.

Edit: Phylol says that early to mid game decides the winner in lower elo.

Depends on your strengths really. If you can play a strong early game champion and abuse your powerspikes, do it but make sure to end the game soon. This unfortunately means getting your team to listen to you and end the game, which can be hard depending on the team.

On the other hand, if you play a late game carry, that means you need to know how get ahead early somehow or stall the game. Which, unfortunately means getting your team to listen to you and hope your team helps you get ahead or stall the game till you reach your power spike.

I've had so many games where I'm playing a Caitlyn, get camped to all hell early, and then my team is flaming me cause I don't do damage with a Runaan's and BF sword like the enemy ADC does with Runaan's, IE, and a Zeal. That's the problem with late game carries is you are pretty much useless until late game or unless you get ahead.

Personally, I find it harder to fail with an early game champion, especially if you have some utility with your kit. MF, for example, is strong early, but if she loses lane that doesn't stop her ult from being useful so long as she hits people with it. Lee Sin is early, but if he ults a priority target late game (or kicks the tank into priority targets) that can win a game. Pantheon, as you mentioned, has great roaming potential and can easily punish someone from being alone or out of position unless they are extremely tanky, and even if it goes late, he can still stun someone late to at the very least help peel for the late game carry or murder the enemy carry.
