The Veigar suggestions

I understand people just want to help fix the Veigar problem being introduced in 5.4. But hearing all the half-assed suggestions that have been put forth for Veigar kind of depress me. No serious thought into them, lets just throw crap on the wall and see what sticks.

There is no denying these PBE changes are half-assed. Seems like Riot is being rushed after removing DFG to 'compensate' these champions. But Veigar got the short end of the stick. I'm sure it has nothing to do with the Veigar support role in LCS recently.. Because lets make balance changes based on LCS. I just hope Riot hurries up and pushes these changes live so I can never play this Champion again. Put him on the back-burner and wait maybe another year or two to have him properly reworked.

I swear, skins have received more design effort than the recent Veigar changes. Since he's an immobile champion, it just doesn't seem like Riot cares about this champion anymore.

Seems like you're a wealth of potential changes. Let's all just listen to the whiny little keyboard warrior claiming changes are halfassed without even a single sentence why he thinks they're a bad idea. "Any idiot can see they're bad" is not an answer btw.

This isn't a discussion about why I want to prove those suggestions suck. Its a matter of opinion anyway. This is about Veigar not getting the proper attention for a rework that he apparently needs due to his 'toxic gameplay'.

But I guess you're too busy being seething dick. Maybe if you spent less time spewing mundane internet smack-talk you would have read the actual topic.

or maybe not. I think there might only be 2 pairs of buttcheeks for every 4 Rioters on the balance team.

There is no way to see if the suggestions are bad without the sandbox Riot has to test them in. Its not any individual suggestions that I'm having a problem with, its just the way this whole Veigar change is turning out. Its becoming a huge debacle.

It's something between desperation and frustration. They're desperate to not see Veigar stuck with an ability that nullifies all dueling capability, so they want to throw out as many ideas as they (sorry, we; I've done the same thing, on the PBE boards actually, but then mine was more of a rework of him than just fixing E) can. On top of that, they're frustrated to see Riot wanting to implement a change that seemingly 95% of the community knows is a terrible idea. Veigar will simply not be played after the patch goes live and there's a lot of Veigar mains and people that just like to play him and even those that just like champion diversity that are very frustrated by the fact that Riot would do this to him.

But I am scared that these changes will make it to live. And so are the others. We don't want to see Veigar trashed and would try just about anything to prevent that.

I've made suggestion myself. I would say yours seems reasonable. Its not any particular suggestion. But the rushed, half-assd manner in which Riot is handling this is dismaying. For someone who loved Veigar's gameplay and identity, this feels like a blow. It feels like the balance/design team literally hate this champion. He represents everything that is anti-mobility. They have stated again and again that this is their anathema.
