A humbling experience

I just finished my second ranked placement game, and it started out.....preeeeetty bad. I fat fingered my flash at 1:30, and because of it, I died twice to Shyvana ganks. I was pretty tilted by this already, but then this jungle Kayn on my team starts telling me what to do, and you know how that song and dance goes. I called him annoying, and then he said just two little words that changed the entire rest of the game for me:

"You're bad."

And you know what? He was right. I took time to think about why he said that. I was tilted, I was 0 and 2, I was underfarmed. I decided that if I didn't get my balance back, this game was only going to get worse. My team wasn't doing well, and our Zed mid was already calling gg. So I took a deep breath, took a moment to regain my focus, and started playing again. I took a positive attitude in chat, encouraging our team that it wasn't over, and that we could win. A couple minutes later, I solo killed my laner. A few minutes after that, we got rift herald. A few minutes after that, we won a team fight. And just a few more minutes after that, we won.

After that game, Kayn and I discussed it. He apologized for calling me bad, and I told him I was thankful he said it. It was so humbling.

I'm not saying I'm magically cured of tilting. But what I am saying is, just hang in there. No matter how bad the game looks, staying positive and doing what you can to contribute will increase your chances of taking the game back

That's a great story I always like when I can chat after a game with me and a teammate who got heated at each other we are all competitive and sometimes we say without thinking
