Just carried an int feeder.. He actually helped alot.. here is how.

So I just had an int feeder on my team, and I proceeded to get myself extremely fed.. To the point that killing the enemy team was a matter of (when I felt like it). Well the glory of it all is I would wait for the int feeder to get them on sprees then go get the free shutdown (which actually increased our gold lead dramatically while theirs stayed the same). He wasn't worth anything anymore. The moral of the story is.. Keep a level head (get yourself fed) then be creative about snowballing your team.

For every one game like this where you carry, there are 40 others where you just can't carry. Feeders, whether intentional or not are this games' largest obstacle to winning.

Yeah true it can be really hard, but that's a failed ranking system tbh. You can be really good and really clever, and still get shafted game after game. I think part of the problem is that it takes too many games to rank up.

Games like halo have bad players in all the elo's but a loss isn't like that big of a deal.

This game if you aren't rocking a 60% win rate or higher consistently over many games ur stuck where you are which is kinda silly.. That and people get placed silver who should get placed bronze 5.

Like I might now be a great player, but Im alot better than the people in my current elo and in the elo above me.

I actually think the ranked system is as close to perfect as I've ever seen. The problem is a very fundamental one with regards to gameplay. I've always held that this game grants way too much gold for a kill. I really think kill gold should be lowered or removed entirely. Only then would individual skill truly matter. As it stands now, you could be the most skilled Vayne on the planet but if you end up on a team that feeds an Akali 7 kills in the first 5 minutes, your skills will count for nothing as she could make you disappear in less than a second with that kind of gold and level lead.

I just climbed from b5 to b3 or something.. I usually get stuck around plat 2 to diamond (or at least I was when I played alot in previous seasons).

I "Quit Playing" a while ago, but one does not simply quit playing league, so here I am back at it again (and in bronze FacePalm).

I'm not trying to accuse you, but what was your Plat+ account name? I find it hard to believe that you would have trouble ranking up quickly from Bronze. Gold 3 is my highest, but it took two days for me to get from bronze 4 to silver 5. As someone who once made it to Diamond, you should have no problem climbing out.

It was No Daddy No, and Ive only been back a day or so.. its not a problem to climb.. I do mess around alot and play support instead of trying to carry.. Just enjoying myself atm.

Oh yeah I noticed this too when we had an intent Illaoi who fed for 50 minutes. She didn't even afk int she was active the whole time.

I mean its funny too because they are effectively burning the enemies abilities alot of the time too, so I just sat like a vulture waiting for them to cc the feeder and then flew at them like a spidermonkey.

Furthermore, keep in mind that after not very long, an int feeder earns you less gold than a cannon minion, but also resets your gold value.

You being 12/5 is a lot worse than the stats would make you believe if most of those kills are on someone worth 60 gold, all the while reseting you to at least normal kill gold if not a spree.

Understanding this concept requires an understanding of League's bounty system. I'd hazard to guess at least half the player base doesn't even know how much a minion is worth. (>_>)

But see, this is probably in an elo that you are way above. Like a Diamond player in Silver or something like that. Cause yeah, I can do the same vs bots or vs Bronze players, but I can't do the same thing vs the Golds I'm against cause normally they know to ignore the feeder or they just out macro instead of team fighting.

I've tried explaning this to people who want to give up because someone is inting in bronze. They just don't get, that while the other team is chasing the feeder there is plenty of time to get their inhibitors and win game.
