Let's talk about lane tax

First off, when the jungler ganks your lane and gets a kill (regardless of which one of you gets it), you're going to earn gold, so be thankful for that. Even if you don't get a kill, if the jungler forces the enemy laner to teleport home, that also gives you an advantage. The jungler also wants to take towers and cause the enemy laner to miss cs, and if shoving the wave does this then that's a good thing. Shoving the lane could also force the enemy laner to teleport or miss a ton of cs, and burning a summoner spell is always a big thing. Since your lane is pushed, you can go shop and then roam/force an objective while your enemy laner has to clear the wave. And first tower gold is REALLY important now, so you want to take that tower ASAP. Basically, don't be so self centered. The lanes don't belong to anyone. The jungler is trying to help your team as much as possible.

Originally I though you were a laner who was going to argue that Junglers should not tax. But it seems you are.... pro pushing the wave to make the enemy miss minions, I think. I do not understand your viewpoint too clearly. If the jungler forces a summoner spell, a kill (when they do not get the last hit), or forces them to back, that is a successful gank. Taxing 2-4 minions is fine. If your laner complains, don't gank that lane. Nice and simple.

I'm not completely pro tax. There are times when you should tax (like when the enemy laner is dead for instance), and there are times when you shouldn't do it. But if you do shove (tax) the lane, you create pressure. You have a huge wave of minions at the enemy tower, and they have to deal with it. While the enemy is dealing with that huge minion wave, you're free to do whatever you want. Understand?

Watch this. This goes to WAY MORE than just minion taxing but is about the jungler role as a whole. It gives me my mind set and I refer people to this video when people try to report me because I didn't gank a lane or never came back. The content about minion tax is near the end but do watch the whole thing for logically argument, growth, and enjoyment.
