Is Yasuo OP?

Not that i'm saying he is. I'm just wondering. In a whole bunch of my recent matches a Yasuo got fed and carried the game. I haven't really seen a Yasuo do bad lately just get fed and carry games with alot of multi kills or just 2v1 scenarios. Is it just most Yasuo players are skilled or is this champion OP in some type of way? What am I missing?

Yasuo got everything a champion can have in his kit. and like, EVERYTHING.

Free tankiness in passive

Free crit in passive (and his Q benefits from this).

AOE hard CC with Q and ult.

Litteraly infinite mobility with E

Can block most skills in the game with W, even ultimates.

Free armor pen on ult

So if you ask me, a champion that has infinite mobility, denial, insane damage, free shield, hard CC and AOE crit (lets not forget this is all built in his kit) will never be trully balanced and experienced players will never have a true weakness with him. Plus, he is strong at every stage of the game and the only ''Counter'' he would have is targeted hard CC wich is getting rare nowaday.

Yes, his win rate is currently over 55%. With a 45% ban rate in Plat+. He always has been too strong and annoying to lane against. The community, all ranks of players, have been begging for changes to his kit since release. Except Yasou mains of course.

There are 2 op things about him at the moment

  1. A bug that gives him an extra aa before he ults.
  2. The bruiser build. 1 is going to get fixed, 2 is going to get nerfed so he has to buy crit item(s) again.

He currently has an ingame bug which gives him an extra aa before his ult, so technically he is broken.

Meanwhile 55.04% win rate on a champion with a supposed 'high skill cap' B)

what does his skillcap have to do with anything.

complicated champions are also more difficult for others to deal with.

btw his winrate is 51% in gold http://www.leagueofgraphs.com/champions/stats/yasuo

and he's getting shit on in the LCS apparently??? http://www.leagueofgraphs.com/champions/stats/yasuo/lcs

skillcaps mean nothing against bronzelords

I don't think Yasuo as a champ is op, I think that the PD and Mallet build + the bugs make him kinda op rn.

Yes. His bruiser build is incredibly strong and frustrating right now. I've seen plenty of games recently where he fed off his ass but finished Mallet and a defensive item like Maw and goes to town in 1v2s while mindlessly splitpushing. It's pretty disgusting at the moment if you get a half decent Yasuo player.

I feel like he isn't OP at all. Just insanely annoying. Generally if I'm vs Yasuo most of my arsenal can easily murder him Darius Ekko Riven . It's also fun seeing Yasuo player's reaction whenever I grab them out of their dash as Darius . One thing I've learned after playing against so many Yasuo is that he doesn't have a reliable escape. Fight near the ending of your minion wave and he can't run.
