I bet that Talon nerf will drop his win rate to below 50%.

Because his ult isn't just part of his damage combo, but also his only way to escape. By Nerfing it's CD you're gating not only his burst rotation uptime, but also his chance to avoid getting killed in many situations, so he will have more deaths and less kills overall after the nerf goes through.

Meanwhile Lux is the best mid laner for 4 consecutive patches and remains untouched.

What do you expect the community to play though?

AD itemization is crazy with item 3053 item 3156 item 3155 item 3139 and item 3065 item 3102 are at FoN levels of 70 MR. You can't reliably burst anyone with fallowing CC with QWER now.

You have to poke opponents down before moving in, which pretty much makes the best poke-mages the best mages, and when you're talking about lacking in kill pressure: the most utility-focused of the poke mages is the best one.

With how terrible AP itemization feels ATM, pretty sure Lux's win rate is more a matter of picking 1 AP that can do "ok" with an otherwise full AD comp means the enemy tanks and bruisers don't get to run wild with nothing but armor.

AD itemization got heavily overtuned and compensated the shittier items with way better stats.

Maw and Scimitar are ridiculously good choices for any AD champ against AP. having MR, a shield against burst and a cleanse while getting AD, lifesteal and armor pen? that's a bit absurd for any AP champ to fight, with the exception of medium to long range casters like Lux (and xerath, but his ult can be unreliable, same for Ziggs and his kit)

Becuase Lux is Riot's lover and special champion.

Especially for Meddler.
