How Swain's rework SHOULD have gone.

Passive: Swain gains a Soul Shard from Immobilized enemies or enemies he hits with W (no longer has the pull part and is automatic)

Q: If Swain has 3+ Soul Shards the damage always Pierces targets and the mana gained for killing a target is doubled. This cost Swain a Soul Shard.

W: If Swain has 3+ Soul Shards the cast delay is 50% and the slow is increased by 10%. This cost him a Soul Shard.

E: Rooted targets are pulled toward swain (like his Old Passive). If Swain has 3+ Soul Shards the range and speed of E is +25%, this cost him a soul shard

R: For each soul shard Swain has increases the healing and damage of his Ult by 5%, If he has 3+ Soul Shards when he explodes targets hit are slowed by 30%

His Q shouldve summoned a bird turret or otherwise sustained damage over time from the manifestation of Beatrice. E could've been Beatrice latching onto targets and tearing out its soul, dragging the last victim she touches towards Swain and healing him based on missing health %

R being JUST Demonflare, instead of a generic steroid Ult.

Somewhere between old Swain and this version wouldve been perfect. I don't get the point of his current Ult.

Oh and it would be nice if he didn't lose Nevermove, but Vision of an Empire's range is really cool and I cant see it being balanced with any Hard CC too, even if its super telegraphed. Imagining Cait placing traps and Swain moves just barely in range, creating a 4.5 second chain of immobilization that doesnt require commitment to a roam. NO way

I do agree on that. Swain should have some use for his shards aside from his ultimate.
