Meanwhile kat win rate and kass win rate after 5.5.

Kats main be like but muh cc, you guys just dont know how to counter her!!!! Well guess what? Cc counters every single champ. And i laugh everytime kats main go like muh bad laning when i rarely see kat be down more than 10 cs in lane. All this champ is just rush zhonya and faceroll and you'll pentakill their team. Kat has less counterplay than zed and that just shows you how stupid this champ is.

why are people saying kassadin has a free 500range flash the first one is practically free then it is 100 mana that is the cost of a normal ultimate then 200 mana that is double the cost of an average ultimate then 400 then 800 and then caps at 800 800 mana! yup definitely free

Kassadin has a self-shield with an interrupt, a free flash to anywhere he wants within 500 range on a low CD, a slow and a mana-returning ability.

Kat gets a minor MS boost for 1 second from hitting a champion with her W (not targetted) and a 1.5 second 15%DR from her shunpo - which she then has to WALK away from her target.

He carries far more utility than Kat does.

Kat builds tanky, she gets melted because she puts out no damage.

Kass builds tanky, he can take some decent damage.

Kat goes in, she has no way out without a reset.

Kass goes in, he has an ult reset up in less than 2 seconds.

Kat is easily interrupted in her ult, rendering her useless for a solid 7 seconds for you to melt her down as she can't escape without a reset that she didn't get from lacking a kill.

Katarina can't melt without roaming a lot.

Kassadin can afk farm and scale into the mid-game to walk around and wreck at lvl 11.

Kat cannot stick to you efficiently or escape efficiently

Kassadin can do both.

What's worse? PBE has incoming Kat nerfs and Kassadin ult buffs. Quit bitching.

Like I said, PBE has Kat nerfs and Kass buffs right now. They're not gutting kat, but they're hurting. Kassadin will effectively have the most spammable ult imaginable.

Kat can't escape effectively and reliably every time if she engages with shunpo, which is her gap close.

Currently, yes, Katarina > Kassadin's winrate. Nobody cares about banrates, bud - and this is NA, not any of the Asian servers.

The PBE has him at 5.5 changes - which is a spammable ult CD with a longer range. That's a buff.

As a Kat main, her squishiness and early immobility due to lack of resets is one of her biggest downfalls. It's not explicitly the nerf she needs IMO but that nerf does hurt quite a bit.

Those changes are live right now. That post was about a fix on the PBE, where the PBE cycle had him at 5.4 ult stats at the start of that cycle. That has nothing to do with upcoming patches, Kass has no upcoming buffs. And his rates are still garbage. Its certainly a step up but he needs more. Either more damage (maybe an AP ratio on his ult) or better defensive stats so he can be a bruiser.

I know. 50 less hp at level 1 is no small thing. Now she actually might be able to be harassed down with her 4-5 pot start. Shutting her down and keeping her there is a lot more possible now. But it doesn't make up for the massive power spike from Ludens release.

And you don't need to have your resets to be mobile. Its called not being an idiot and using it to harass when you don't know where the enemy jungler is.

I don't understand why they always roll out buffs and nerfs when they haven't fully tested it out on PBE. Even if everyone on PBE hates it, for example, they will still release said buffs/nerfs and say "oops, we'll buff/nerf em later". I think they need actually to work on champion diversity and make a lot of champions viable. It's always the same old top, the same old blah blah. I understand the bot lane being the same, but there is barely and diversity in any other role. There is always a meta that shifts every other month. A champion may be King for said month, but next month they are "trash". Meh, it's w/e at this point.

Kassadin will always be that one champion who will consistently receive nerfs and so said "buffs". I personally don't see a problem with Katarina. I just hate how they always over nerf or over buff champions and items.

Kat's E also wasn't a free flash.. It has to be used on a targetable..

Kat's E ALSO does not increase in damage the more it is used...

Kat can't build too tanky or suffers from complete lack of damage.

Kass has a free flash.

Kass flash amps in damage as its used more, but also in mana cost.

Kass can build really tanky and still one shot the ADC than flash back out.

That is why it was gutted to its current state.

Kat's burst is instant. She has 0 delays. The biggest delay she has is her ult, which does damage very rapidly. It does 25% of her AP every .25s and does damage initially. This means it does 10 hits and in the first 1s, she does 5. How is it 5? Because it does damage when pressed and does it again every .25s. Most don't get to have their burst all tossed in a second because of cast times and animations. Kat has interruptable animations, much like the trick with Riven's Q, except there's no trick to it. Have decent ping? Switch your W to your E key and your E to your W key and roll your fingers really quick from Q to R and press Zhonya's when the enemy team dogpiles you, which is about 1s after your R is initiated unless they've got insta-cast CC that's close enough to hit you. :3

I'm going to be honest here. Cooldown resets or no resource. Not both. Either Katarina needs to use mana or energy, or she needs a new passive. Darius uses mana but has resets. Riven has no resources but no resets. Those two are annoying, but much healthier than Katarina.

CC is a bitch for Katarina, and something like a knockup will interrupt her ult, but it's getting downright annoying. She needs a proper nerf, not this bs they've given her lately. If they can consider a nerf for Sejuani within a week of the new patch, then there is no excuse for ignoring Katarina for so long.
