I don't even mind if Riven gets slight buffs, IF....

...her animation cancelling is removed.

I don't have a problem with Riven, personally. Her damage isn't what bothers me. Her mobility, though annoying, isn't what bothers me.

What bothers me is that her animation cancelling is ping-dependent. Correct me if I'm mistaken, but it's a part of her kit that's incredibly difficult to nearly impossible to pull off with higher ping which is common on the east coast. My roommate played Riven quite a bit and went from being able to successfully and consistently cancel animations at 75 ping to being entirely unable to do it at all at 100+ ping. Is he just an awful Riven? Maybe (probably). That still doesn't give reason for a champions kit to have a power available only to players with low ping.

Zed is skillshot dependent and can therefore be said to be ping dependent.

Lee Sin is as well.

But neither of these champions have their power physically gated by having slower internet. No, it isn't a "high skill cap." No, it isn't the sign of a good Riven player. It's the sign of a player who physically has a power advantage in League strictly by having a lower ping.

Are there any plans to address this?

You can do it with 200+ as long as its stable..

No you can't. Your logic sometimes amazes me. 200+ ping and stable? Get out of here.

I've got a stable 300 ping from South East Asia.

And most players from Korea play on NA too with stable ping even if it's high.

Do you not know what stable means? sta·ble 1 (stā′bəl) adj. sta·bler, sta·blest 1. a. Resistant to change of position or condition; not easily moved or disturbed: a house built on stable ground; a stable platform. b. Not subject to sudden or extreme change or fluctuation: a stable economy; a stable currency. c. Maintaining equilibrium; self-restoring:

200 ping can be stable if it doesn't fluctuate.

Your friend isn't bad at riven, he's bad at league in general. Animation cancelling for riven comes from just having two skill animations go at the same time, which means all you have to do is press two skills at the same time. No change in ping will change your ability to animation cancel. I live in GA. I have 79 ping usually. When I went to a friends house, i had 110 ping. It took me around 25 minutes into the first game to get completely used to the ping difference.

Stop complaining about east coast ping.

I love how you jump to the conclusion that I must be complaining about ping when I'm fully fine with my ping at 80. I have no problems with it. But thanks for your judgmental, ignorant opinion of what you think my post was about.

Making Riven easier to play and stronger at the same time is a bad plan. No.

Animation cancelling is at the core of her fighter-based gameplay, removing it takes away a lot of the fun of playing her, as well. So double no.
