Inb4 I get even more chat restrictions and ranked restrictions because im getting reported for toxic behavior (even though I say nothing) all because my teams feel the need to blame me for losing the game

Nobody is out to get you and you are not getting falsely reported; you need to stop insulting or pestering other players even if the only way is for you to not talk at all.

edit: in case you are wondering based god lytes brilliant "mess up" on his ask.fm has caused a surge in the amount of trolls in ranked who simply dont care and will report everyone for verbal abuse/ offensive language in an attempts to get other players restricted because they thought (and many still think) anyone who has been restricted at all during the season wont get rewards, causing a bunch of truly toxic trolls and other such folk to go on a "well if i cant have my rewards why try in ranked?" spree or a "if i can have my rewards nobody can have rewards" spree
and riot has failed to address these countless automated punishments that are being handed out unfairly for stuff that can be barley classified as toxic as TraakSC here said

RIot is continually punishing emotional response or general banter and classifying it as toxic and not doing anything about trolls/feeders/ect or true toxic players
I was told by the enemy team after the newest game I got reported for being toxic because I had a bad kda
after I had said "report me for what..? I did bad? however morde asked for a report on me which is commonly classified as toxic and he will be getting reported by me" and the enemy team all told me I was toxic and gg no re get banned ect that im being reported by them

If youve bothered to read the post in the thread or the forums in general youll realize people are reporting ANYTHING they dont like under "verbal abuse/offensive language" BECAUSE they know those are the only two that warrant an automated punishment
Im being reported for doing bad in a game and losing, under the category of verbal abuse or offensive language which is warranting an unfair restriction(s) because all they reported me for was because they blamed me for the loss of a game

but 95% of the time in appeals they send an automated response about the tribunal being down so they cant give out chat logs anymore
then the support ticket expires which allows riot to keep their "only less than .0000000000000000000000001% have been wrongfully punished.
which isnt true THERE IS A LOT OF PEOPLE who have been wrongfully punished but riot never gives us the chat logs anymore to actually prove anything

Exactly, they still look at it. Just because they didn't send you a copy doesn't mean someone didn't look at it. They are so swamped with reports they can't do that every time.

report them back if they were really blaming you. Also, NEVER retaliate, even if they're instigating you. it's really lame and i feel like a bitch for having to do it, but not worth the reports which will get you banned. best to just mute them
Helcaraxë1 votesDude, life happens. Everyone gets reported for nothing sometimes. You just kinda have to suck it up and deal with it. If you are not actually toxic, the few times that does happen should not really affect you.
If this happens often, maybe consider if what you are doing is actually toxic. I have little real understanding to what your situation actually is, so im just tryin to help.
Arcade Andrew1 votesthe problem isnt the fact the life happens and players get reported for nothing, the problem is im EXTREMELY on tilt Right now so im not doing to hot in ranked and for four games now ive been reported for being toxic, not because I was talking or actually being toxic, but i got reported for basically being bad and not doing well (IE going 3/6 on vayne ADC in the most recent game)
now with the old system this wouldnt be an issue, the tribunal would see "oh hes not being toxic he just didnt do well in these games" however the automated system is based on frequency of reports
kind of like how honor ribbons are

the automated punishment system works on a: get reported alot for verbal abuse or offensive language? CHAT RESTRICTION! (or rankked rest. or both)
now all in all the automated system isnt THAT terrible however with RIOTLytes comments on his ask.fm there has been a HUGE SURGE in player reporting others for these things in an attempts to get them chat restricted.
Which means If I were to continue to be on tilt, and players raged at me and blamed me for a loss, Id likely get an unfair chat restriction (I actually currently have an unfair one im trying to appeal via player support)
Even though lyte redacted saying as long as you dont have an active punishment at the end of the season and you werent 7/14 day banned youd be fine
now sure maybe one or two chat restrictions were warranted if I got a little too out of hand defending myself against those who verbally abuse me, HOWEVER
for the majority I know THAT 80%~ of my automated punishments are unfair. how do I know this?
I used to be VERY TOXIC back in season two (IE racial slurs, homophobic slurs, calling people cancer ect.)
I thought at the time obviously that I wasnt toxic and appealed but riot actually did their job and had sent me logs of 10+ games where i was calling people cancer/trash/nigger/faggot ect even wishing death upon some people they had also said if I continue this toxic behavior it would be a perm ban on my account and that this 2week ban was THE LAST STRAW for me.
so obviously I reformed Im still here and I havent been banned. however the automated system is punishing me left and right?! this makes no sense, RIOT personally told me the next punishment for toxic behavior would be a perm ban, so whats up with that? either A: im not toxic and the automated punishment system needs reform or B: Im super toxic still calling people those hurtful things and deserve a perm ban?
on the one or two times riot has given me chat logs appealing a chat and ranked restriction I was suprised to find the logs were basic banter back and forth between two salty team mates stuff like "why the fuck did you not heal me man?" or "hey whyd youd waste your flash like that? dont you want to win?" the more serious lines often included the word fuck alot more but that is about it, no racial slurs or homophobic slurs.

that means in theory ANYTHING could get you punished (and often does)
for example: To you maybe the word "moist" is offensive and you think it deserves punishment but for me its fine
and vice versa maybe I hate the word "booty" and I think its offensive and should be answered via bans
do you see the problem here? there is an automated system in place with no clear cut rule stance just a stance of "if somebody finds it offensive go ahead and punish"

creatureplex1 votesI agree and disagree unfortunately if you get reported by their entire team yeah their's going to be a punishment/ if you don't argue with them your less likely to get reported, play your role to the best of your ability because at that point they really can't say shit, if they do and they start giving you shit mute them report them after game, but rule number 1 never tell someone you are reporting them cuz then they'll just report you back in revenge even if you did nothing wrong doesn't matter. So play nice give advice if they don't listen report them don't argue with them don't grive them and ultimately try helping them if they're feeding help them out give advice they don't listen fine let them die it's as simple as that yeah you probably are going to lose the game but ultimately it's better than getting banned for no reason.
