I'm a Wukong main so I wanted to get other peoples' opinion on him. He was fine after the duskblade compensation. Then the ninja tabi nerf pushed him even further. Hes hovering around 53% WR but only has a 1% pick rate. Too strong? Fair for his pick rate? Not enough data? Honestly I dont care about him not being viable in competitive. Doesnt matter even a little in my book.

I really haven't seen a good wukong in a long time so I generally think that he is annoying but not op. (Annoying because good wukongs know how to mess around with their doppleganger)

While I personally find Wukong a lot of fun, I think that he shouldn't be as feast or famine. He needs more variability, skill expression, and counterplay built into his kit.

His kit is made of bits and pieces of things that you'd see in multiple classes mashed together (Vanguard Passive and Ult, Diver E, Assassin W and a Q which is pretty generic but I believe is very common amount Juggernauts in some form), His reliance on ended up warranting Riot to do a preemptive buff on his Q which seems to have made his win rate jump up in no time flat telling that his balance is on a knife edge where one minor change could push him one way or the other and to top it off he has ended up getting a very singular build path, which USED to be his secondary path ( don't even get me started on the useless AP scaling on his W).
All of this stuff are issues do to how outdated his kit is (seeing as they didn't have the same concept of classes back when he was created) and could be fixed with an update, focusing on certain aspects of him and his kit but leaving it open ended enough for multiple builds and styles of play. He's still got a lot of potential waiting for Riot to tap into.

Eedat1 votesTriforce used to be pretty bad on Wu. Wukong relies heavily on raw AD for damage. They did buff his base AD a few patch ago though. Ill give triforde and steraks a go sometime

While I'm not affectionate of him, I don't try and counter him (and I'm not sure how anyway) like I do if I see Yi / Yasuo picked. 53% WR and low pickrate makes sense for that.
